Hi just set up a dev site and imported the demo content. The site is painfully slow and constantly times out when trying to edit the pages supplied. I’m also wanting to add shortcodes and none of the tag elements seem to support them. Site is on a decent VPS, latest php etc, no issues with any other sites on the VPS.
Any thoughts on both counts please, very frustrating.

Hi Vlad, this site is literally out of the box and is currently virtually un-editable, simply accessing the home page in the admin causes a time-out or page not responding, this isn’t anything to do with optimisation, it’s basic admin we want to do and we are struggling to do the basics. There is something else wrong.

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please check the Hosting requirements too.
Make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Hi Calin, the site exceeds the requirements, as does the hosting as it’s on a VPS. All plugins are deactivated, the only live ones are yours. Sadly it’s just not working for us, I’m afraid we’ll be requesting a refund on this one. We’ve not activated the licence as such.

In order to can use the theme, you need first to activate it.

If this is still not working go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png

And try after that to activate the theme.
