Hello, I just installed this theme and I have WP specific hosting, I used one of the demo’s you guys build and the loading time is almost triple your demo? I am wondering why and what can be done to speed it up. Here is a link to the site. If you refresh the page you will se it takes a while to load and if you refresh your demo its almost instant. I haven’t really added any other pages and have only a few essentially plugins.
I just did a quick speed test on tools.pingdom.com and your demo came with 1.83 second load time (amazing) and mine game up with 12.82 seconds. Same content. I’m confused…

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. Hi Catalin, Thank you. I actually went through the steps to set up cloud flare I believe that helped a bit. I believe the problem is I am on shared hosting. I have a Managed WordPress hosting plan with Go Daddy. I have never has a dedicated server. Also I cannot get those caching plugins because my hosting plan already has a caching feature that comes with it.

@dennis we answer from oldest to newest so you will have wait your turn. We cannot answer a topic faster then any other if it’s not the oldest one. We have to answer everybody and that takes a bit of time. And there are the support hours and time zone to consider. (top right of this page)
@mtraps This is a problem for wordpress as the hosting cache does not always provide good results. We suggest you switch to a non-shared host and install your own cache plugin using these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
The host counts for quite a big percent of the page speed. Most people who have slow page speed are on budget hosting and there cannot be any good page speed there. Speed comes with a price unfortunately. Rarely do budget hosts provide good speeds as well.
