I installed the theme. But This theme is making my site too much slow (other themes are loading properly).. But this theme is too much slow. I wanna know if there’s any solution for this š
Sorry, but this is not helpful at all. I can’t find anything that you’re talking about. Can you please send me a link?
Hi
The theme code was tested and optimized for best performance, we have a lot of clients and the theme works well on a large variety of hosts.
First please make sure that you use the recommended server configuration for Newspaper theme, you can check our documentation for more details: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
There are lots of factors that influence the siteās page-sped. I suggest you first try this without any other plugins active, leave just VC plugin active the check again. To improve the loading speed look the mysql query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html we also use it on our demo.
Also you can use the speed booster to move the js and css at the bottom of the page, eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. Check the System Status if the speed booster is active if you use other plugins than the tested ones. You can find some useful information regrading speed booster usage in this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-questions/
Also you can read this guide, it may help ā https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Hope this help.
Thanks!
see this report https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thetopupdate.com%2F .. How horrible… My site is totally new, and no post or media in the site.. The page speed is really horrible in default.. I want my money back if you can’t fix this issue…
Note that only you can optimize your own site/server — no theme can optimize problems with your site setup such as caching, time to live, image compression, gzip/deflate, external tools like Jetpack that slow things down. You will have problems with all complex themes unless you learn to make the optimzations needed BY YOU to speed up your site/server/hosting account setup. This is true of *all* WordPress installs, regardless of theme.
(I don’t work here; just been using WordPress for over 11 years …)
You might try testing one of your posts with GTMetrix.com which shows the better examples of the things you need to fix with examples.
Again — site optimization is theme independent!
