Social Counter plugin is tested and works fine now. Please make sure that you configured the plugin according with our documentation, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist please provide your site url so we can inspect this closer, also create a new topic for your issue.

Please make sure you use the latest version of the theme 6.6.4, then you can deactivate and delete the current Social Counter plugin from your site – http://screencast.com/t/4f9ZPR9sNl6Y and install it from here – http://screencast.com/t/ioeIReUJ4 Or install it via wordpress or ftp as you like, you can find all the theme plugins in package that you download from themeforest in /plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ After you do this please follow this guide and configure the Social Counter(using the api key) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/

Same here, followed steps in configuration and there is still 0 in facebook counter. Seding you an email.

I cant get the app ids, facebook page seems to have changed.
Followed your instructions but stuck here –
“Get the Facebook Application ID if you have one. If not, from https://developers.facebook.com go to My Apps -> Add a New App. Then you can choose the ‘Site web’ option.”
sorry ignore my comment, I got to the fb page . counter still says 0 but I will wait for a while to see if its picking up the counter

I simply love this theme! Like everyone else, I’ve followed the tutorial and your other suggestions #themeUpdated #PluginsUpdated #CacheFlushed #Etc and I’m still getting a 0 count on my Facebook page. can’t you people fix it ?

I’m sorry for the inconvenience but this complicated process was created by facebook. They are the ones that changed the rules, not us. There is nothing to “fix”. The process is more complicated but it works. There are a number of things that affect the counter but it does work. Please follow the tutorial on page 1 carefully and if you have a facebook id with numbers (the long number type) then simply enter the number part in the counter, not the whole ID. If you still cannot get it to work, please send us an email at the provided address (contact@tagdv.com) and we will take a look.
