Hi, I just started with your social counter, but all the stats are set to “0”, my facebook page has 155 likes, but it is showing “0”, similarly for twitter, instagram and pinterest.

I have the same problem.
Facebook counter stopped working a few days ago.
Instagram counter has not been updating for the last 3 months.
I have updated versions of Newspaper theme and its plugins to the latest versions, caches have all been cleared multiple times.
Developers please help. These are urgent issues!

Please make sure that your counter id’s are set properly as you can see here in our guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
For Instagram please make sure that the Instagram API has been inserted correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/
And for the facebook please make sure that your user is correct. You can test this by simply trying http://www.facebook.com/your username

All the setups were correct.
As many members have mentioned, it’s a bug on the Tagdiv’s side, not due to us not setting up things properly.
FB counter was working normally until I upgrade from Newspaper 10.3.6 to 10.3.7
IG counter was working properly until a few months ago and then boom, it stopped renewing the counter.
Please ask your developer to produce a fix to the bug, there is nothing wrong done on the user end.

Yes, I don’t know the cause, I tried all the methods mentioned on the page you provided. Even tried adding your Facebook id also, but still, it doesn’t work.

I have spoken to our developers and unfortunately the Instagram is not fully working at the moment so we recommend using the fixed counter: https://www.screencast.com/t/IegtJZDe00
As for the facebook, please make sure that your cache is clear and also remove and re-install the tagDIv Composer, I have tried on multiple devices editing and this works.

The thing is Instagram counter has been broken for nearly 6 months now. Do we have a timeframe when it will be fixed? Having to manually update the counter everyday is not really a proper solution……
I have no issue with Facebook counter now. Somehow it’s fixed itself suddenly yesterday

Unfortunately Instagram keeps changing their regulation and when our developers finish adapting the theme to one thing, another one shows up. At the moment there is no timeframe for this.

I just changed the fb account form tagDiv to our own and the counter does not work. It works when I type tagDiv but for domamk.mk it says 0, even though the page has likes. I tried updating the theme to V10.3.7, tried deleting TD Composer and re-installing it but that does not work.
TD Composer plugin version: 2.7
TD Social Counter plugin version: 4.8
Let me know if I should try something else.

As mentioned above at the moment there are no news to this issue. Our developers are working on it but Instagram keeps chaning API and policies that makes it hard for out team to keep up in order to release a good version.

Please make sure you have the latest theme version, v11.2, to display the number of followers, you need to use Instagram as a “Business” or “Creator” page, in this way those Instagram pages will be administered by a Facebook account (this is how Facebook API is working).
Also, when you log in with your Facebook account you must approve access to the pages you manage in order to be able to get your followers number
