Good day team,
Please I have been trying to link my social network pages to my website. I have been using the link http://www.facebook.com/pagename from the elements edit page and also from the theme panel, but each time I click on the facebook icon or instagram Icon on my website, its takes me back to an error page. How do I link my website to my social network sites. Thanks
Hello @Bamsfoldigital!
Access your facebook page and copy paste the link. The link should have this structure: https://www.facebook.com/pageid. Make sure the link is working if you paste it in a browser.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
I have tried copying the link from my facebook page, but each time I click the page from my website, a 404 error page will come out with the link https://dailyfocus247.com/www.instagram.com/my-page-ID,
https://dailyfocus247.com/www.facebook.com/my-page-ID
https://dailyfocus247.com/www.twitter.com/dailyfocus247.
I dont kniw why my website URL usually come before the social network URL

Thanks a lot Bettina, I’m starting to get the beauty of Newspaper Theme. But my major challenge now is that my Mobile site is looking totally different from my desktop site. The widgets on my desktop site are not showing on my mobile site. infact I can only see three posts displayed on my mobile site. all the categories I created on the desktop are not displaying on the mobile. I will need a solution to this. Thanks in anticipation.
Hi Bamsfoldigital, we are happy that you like our theme!
About the mobile version. That is looking like that because you have the mobile theme plugin enable. This will set a simple/standard layout for mobiles.
Our theme can use 3 options for mobile version:
1 – the responsive version
2 – the mobile page template
3 – the mobile theme plugin
To have the same layout, then you need to avoid the mobile theme plugin. Use the responsive version or the mobile page template (if you want to edit the mobile version to have a different look or content).
Also, here is a video tutorial that maybe can help you!
Thank you!
i have built some mobile pages starting from the mobile home page, but my wbsite is still loading the contents from my desktop website each time I use my Phone.. I have cleared the cashe from the browser and I have also deleted the Tagdiv Mobile Plugin. What may be the reason for thhis
Hi,
I just made some tests and for me the mobile page looks like this https://i.imgur.com/aiBK36N.png it is this like it suppose to be? If not, can you please provide a screenshot on how should be!
Also, if you want you can make a test without cache plugin or maybe logged in (to not use the cache) and see if is delivered the right version for the mobile.
Thank you!
Thanks Calin,Yes this is how its supposed to be. I was able to get the ways its supposed to be done through one of your videos.
However I noticed that each time I click on a post on the mobile, the post pens in the settings of desktop and not mobile, How can I override this. So that post opened on mobile will also be on mobile page settings
Hi,
I see that you have the mobile theme plugin and this is disable on homepage.
Do you want to use the mobile theme plugin, the responsive version or the mobile page template?
If is the mobile theme plugin, then you need to have this plugin enable and to make sure that the mobile theme is not disable on posts/pages -> https://i.imgur.com/99d1c2n.png
If you want to use the responsive version or the mobile page template, then the mobile theme plugin need to be disabled, or it can be only disable on the post/page where you’ll like to be display the responsive/mobile page template.
Thank you!
Thank You. I’m using the mobile page template. But I noticed if I click to read any post from my Mobile phone , It takes me directly to the post but not in the mobile page template format. i.e the post page will not be in mobile template format.
Hi,
I just checked and for me it looks like this on posts -> https://i.imgur.com/giLKIui.png -> https://i.imgur.com/E9vUsdZ.png should not be like this?
Can you please provide some screenshots to see how it should be!
Thank you!
