Stretching the rows in footer makes the page horizontally scrollable

Hi,

I’m trying to redesign some things. I used the footer default pro cloud template and moved the elements around a bit. Then in the composer I added row stretch to “Stretch row” so that it is stretched for the full width of the site. But for some reason, whenever I stretch any of the rows circled on the image (https://prnt.sc/118bwmx), the website becomes horizontally scrollable, how do I fix this horizontal scroll bar appearing?

-I cannot post live link, I am doing the redesign locally.

The Overflow also happens when I stretch the main row in single post template as well. There seems to be some kind of extra padding even when all of the row stretch options are chosen, except the default one (that doesn’t cause overflow). Here is another screenshot- (https://prnt.sc/11915g5), but I cannot find a way to fix it.

As I said, this is all done on my local machine. I can’t work on re-designs on a live website. Is there no other way you can help me?

I think I just found the issue. When this element has position absolute enabled then the overflow happens https://prnt.sc/11aj4kv. When it is disabled, there is no overflow anymore but my columns lose their background color and become transparent https://prnt.sc/11aj5ak.

Can you tell me how to apply the absolute position fix AND also keeping the background black color of the two columns?

Hello!

It is strange, because we didn’t find this issue till now and how you described it should work well.
Sometimes, this kind of issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Please make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Let me know about your results!

Thank you!
