Tag Div doesn't work after saving once (Footer)

Hi there,

I designed a footer template within Cloud Templates. It doesn’t depend if I make my own or insert a premade footer. After I save it and exit the Tag div composer, I want to edit the footer but Tag Div doesn’t work anymore. There is only the textmode of the editor and I can’t go inside Tag Div anymore…

Unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore now… When I add a new cloud template – choose for example Zodiac Footer – Create template – it says Import completed. But there is no imported Footer, it shows my main footer and nothing else…

Update: When I deactivate Yoast, at least the zodiac footer is imported… Anyways, I can’t save it most of the time and I can’t edit inside Tag Div Composer at the old footers…

Also I found out, whenever I am able to save it… and I watch the preview, the footer is imported two times and there is this message:
Warning: getimagesize(https://www.annaobermeier.at/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/logo-1.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /www/htdocs/w014a910/lovely-photos.at/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/header/tdb_header_logo.php on line 792

Update Nr 2: My boyfriend has Newspaper aswell and he has the same problem – he can’t edit the footer (from the cloud library) because the Tag Div Composer doesn’t work.

When we’re at the overview site of the cloud templates, and hover over a footer – there is no “edit template”, while we can see it at other cloud templates.

I deactivated ALL other plugins, then activated them one at a time and the problem with the Warning doesn’t appear anymore…

Hi,

If you are using a pro demo, the footer is a cloud template, then you’ll need to edit it from a page, for example, you can edit the homepage, click on edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uweNRrc.jpg after that go down to the footer end edit it how you want (now you can customize the the whole web-page from fronted).

For Warning: getimagesize =>
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.

Please enable the option in PHP.Ini as you can see here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37531149/php-getimagesize-not-working-on-external-links That allow url is 0 on your side. You can ask your host to do this.

Thank you!

Hi Calin,

so it’s not possible to create a footer in the backend without already being “live”?

(How do I manage that the sections of my cloud-template-footer all appear among each other in the mobile version? When I don’t use a cloud template, but the style 9 of the footer template, with widgets – then they appear among each other. Unfortunately this doesn’t work when I style a cloud template…)

Or – Is it possible to have a different footer for mobile?

Hi Calin, I asked my host for the php.ini changes but he wrote that my allow_url_fopen is already “on”…

Hi,

Unfortunately the cloud footer can be edited only live for the moment, sorry!
Also you can check and adjust the footer elements by changing the view port in tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Kz6WIS8.png also you can check the flex block layout per device -> https://i.imgur.com/yE5ihsn.png

Or you can use the mobile theme plugin, but there are only few customization that you can do. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

If the problem with “Warning: getimagesize” persists, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Let me know the results!
Thank you!
