Hi,
Because the templates can now be set in the Theme panel->Template settings. For example each author can have a template now
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ccImwecc9ZFk
Or for example 404 pages – https://www.screencast.com/t/XyUBBeG4NriP
The setting was integrated with the theme panel.
As for the problem you mention, we did not encounter it, or has it been mentioned in the forum as far as I know. Do other settings in the theme panel reset as well?
Once saving in the panel, everything is saved in the database, so maybe this could be related to database problems.
Thanks
Hi @Simion. The issue recurred again. Also, someone has reported it too here https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-page-404-dont-work/
I have tried to check but could not find anything. I reset the templates again in the theme panel but they have reset again a day later. I even thought it was a caching problem and I kept deleting cache several times during the day but nothing happened. Checked today and they have reset. This is only happening to the templates set under the Template settings section. I have set them again for now.
The issue is under more investigation, we can’t seem to identify what is the trigger for the templates to reset.
Any other details you can provide are most welcome. Are you doing anything specific before the templates reset or it happens randomly, or after the same period of time? Could you mention what are the currently active plugins on your website?
I have the problem, that the theme panel after migration with duplicator dont save anything changes i want to made
New installation of the theme shows the old installation.

Hello,
Ensure that all the theme’s requirements have been respected according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at your setup page and also, so we can check why you cannot save anything.
Thanks.
Hello, theme panel is have a bug on 404 page template, if you make change on theme panel, the 404 page is revert back to default template, try to change 404 page again and save it. Make sure if you change anything on theme panel, before your leave theme panel section, refresh page by clicking theme panel section and check 404 page, if 404 page is revert back to default template, change them and save it again until this issue is fix by the team.
Hope this help
Actually, for me, it is not just 404 that resets, but every template in the theme panel>template settings section. The issue occurs randomly. Like it can stay days or a week or two before it occurs. Like it occurred recently when I made my previous comment. But it is good to hear the tagdiv team is following up on the issue.
Yes, the issue is the same, all of the cloud template on theme panel is revert back to default template right after I make another change and save it. You can try it. Just change all of template in theme panel with cloud template and save it, back to your dashboard, make another change in theme panel, for example, remove your adsense code from your header and save it. Refresh the page by clicking theme panel again, and check the template section, you will see all of the cloud template is revert back to theme default template.
Hello McDohl,
What did you mean through all of the cloud templates? You are referring to all the cloud template which was set up on Template Settings from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dNE6PIwpKi or those from Categories from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FWIRYwiMIVKu
Thanks for your message!

Hi,
Please try the following. Make a backup before attempting. Access the cloud library files in the plugins folder, replace this file with the one provided below
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Vq7763fl
Then set cloud templates if needed, check if they still reset after making this modification. Please let us know the results.
