the best way to upgrade wordpress newspaper 4.5,1 and 6.7.2 , completely erase and newspaper wordpress , install the new version 4.6 and newpaper 7 and import old db ?

I’d probably do this, except NOT use the pokey Envato updater:

I’d probably make backups, and update WP asap as latest update has notable security fixes for stuff in the wild.

THEN worry about theme upgrade.
