I just purchased the Newspaper theme and when I try to install the plugin through the WordPress dashboard, I get the following error:-

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin installation failed
My wordpress version is 5.8.2.
Please advise what the problem us.

Please try to update the plugins manually, via FTP/cPanel-> https://www.techjunkie.com/package-could-not-be-installed-no-valid-plugins-were-found-in-wordpress/

Thanks for the answer but this is not the case …. these are plugins that were already installed since the beginning of the site, woocommerce. They always updated automatically. These are not new plugins. the messages I get are:
Update failed: Unable to create directory. woocommerce/includes/admin/meta-boxes
Update failed: Unable to create directory. woocommerce-admin/dist/number
Update failed: Unable to create directory. woocommerce-paypal-payments/modules/ppcp-button/assets/js

Please make sure you have the latest update of the theme(11.3.2) and plugins, and all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
