Theme Update question

So, first of all, please try to do a full backup to your data, according to this documentation here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups to rule out the way can loose all your data from your database and then try to update your theme VIA FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ because this is the surest method in this case. In the next step, you will have to disable ALL your plugins and leave just Visual Composer to active -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ (for Newspaper 7 -> Visual Composer 4.11.2), clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that all your panel settings were loaded in the MySQL database and you will not lose these settings. Also, if you have others customization through code, please notice that the latest update will overwrite these files and you will lose these customizations. So, if will have the backup, then you will have to re-add all your customizations for the latest update until you will achieve as you wish.
