Recently I have been facing a drastic slowdown of my site. When contacted with the hosting provider, they said that my site has too many POST request to admin-ajax.php, which is resulting in slowdown of the site. They said this is because of the theme files which as too many POST request.
They asked me to contact the theme provider regarding reducing the POST request.

The requests to admin ajax come from all the complex visual composer elements on your site. Please reduce the number of ajax uses by reducing pagination on most blocks, ajax filters, and other complex elements from visual composer.
