Can you check the number of the processes while adding embed photo or video from Instagram that have been loaded. I think they are too many. And it’s taking too many resources to load CPU too in this regard. Maybe it’s a conflict with the code?

I have tested it couple of times and in all cases the CPU and the number of processes rise is very big no matter what picture or video is used and no matter the channel. The code I provided is just an example. You can test with any code. This happens when people are reading the article (right after opening). After removing the script the CPU usage and the number of processes significantly drop even if there are more people reading the same article.
Just found out the same thing happens and when couple of pictures are added inside a post. Please take a look urgently. There was no such problem with version 6.7.

We tested our theme and we do not seem to have this issue on our side. The theme is optimized for best performances so please try this without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also make sure you increase the system status parameters like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you still have issues with this, try to create a sub-domain and make a fresh install of wp and the theme for testing purposes.

I use the recommended plugins and just a lightbox for a facebook like with no cache plugins or CDN. With traffic like this there was no problem with version 6.7. I have checked all your recommendations. Please try to simulate some traffic like 200-300 people and test again. I asked my host provider to do a full check and there was no problem on their side. He alerted for very high PHP processes rise. I think the high usage comes from currency widget and weather mainly.

As far as we are aware of, this issue is not created by our theme as it was tested properly and no extra CPU load was present. I will however add this to our testing list and pass this information on to our development team for further testing so we can make sure the issue is not caused by our theme.
