If you want to update your theme to the latest version of the theme, you will have to do that only via FTP because this is the surest method for updating. So, before doing that you will have to download the new update file from Theme Forest using your unic account. After this, you will have to do a full backup for your data because it is more safety and then you will have to remove all your old theme and install the new update through FTP according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Regarding on your Translation, if you are using the https URL, please try to follow the next steps for your Translations. Try to load your desired translation from panel and then you can see in left corner of your browser, an icon with a shield and then try to Load unsafe scripts, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/aLm2aAFv5

I tried manually as well and it doesn’t work. When I translate and then click save changes it takes for ever and doesn’t save. I have the same problem when I used the pre install languages that comes in the theme

If you have some problems with saving, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.1.1) with the required plugins and then please ensure that your parameters are increased to be higher, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/ because there was discussed this problem about saving with Wordfence plugin. If you have this type of plugin to active, please disable it or set it according to workaround that was explained in that topic by Bryson T.
