I have a problem with the (Leopard – WordPress offload media) plugin for upload to external host. It takes > 30 seconds to just load the media library. Each and every time I open it. Using the WP health plugin I found the cause seems to be in either tagDiv Cloud Library or tagDiv Composer. Without them it loads in 5 seconds.
It’s similar to the problem someone else posted, but never got an reply to.
Hello,
Maybe your plugin conflicts with the theme plugins.
Also, please check if you have the requirement related to the upload file set like in the guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ -> upload_max_filesize – To upload large files, like plugins zip files, you have to increase this value also.
Thank you!
Thanks for your response.
My system meets all the requirements:
WP 6.1.1
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT: 512M
WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT: 256M
upload_max_filesize: 2000M
When I go to the health mode and only activate the Leopard – WordPress Offload Media plugin, everything works fine. Opening the media library takes < 3 seconds.
Next, I can also activate:
– tagDiv Shop
– tagDiv Standard Pack
– tagDiv Cloud Library
Loading the media library takes 1 or 2 seconds longer, but I can live with that.
Next, I enable:
– tagDiv Composer
As soon as it’s enabled, performance drops and loading the media library takes between 30 seconds to a minute.
Please note, the problem is NOT uploading. The problem is LOADING the media library.
Thanks
Hello,
Each thumb that you have enabled, will create a copy for that images.
So, our theme make thumbs which are enabled in Theme Panel -> Block Settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/ZvDvpiBFKY3 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Also, WordPress creates thumbs => https://www.screencast.com/t/AMVBOZWto
Our suggestion is to take a look at what blocks you use and make sure that the thumbs are active only for that=> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Thank you!
Hi, I did check what you suggested, however it has 0 impact on the loading speed of the media library. As I mentioned earlier, the problem ends as soon as I deactivate the Composer plugin.
