Using 8.6 and have been waiting for the WP5 to be released etc
Still using WP4.9 and this morning i tried update from 8.6 to latest version 9.2.1
after install it loads the menu and header then nothing
In the back end i open the homepage TagDiv composer and it gives the error
Error at rows: 3(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content
opened developer tool in chrome and got
?td_action=tdc_edit&post_id=38&tdbTemplateType=page:1
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
reverted back to old version and had a lot of [vc] [/vc] code on the home page
In admin had a notice saying the TagDiv composer and TagDiv Social Counters do not work with this version
noticed in plugins the TagDiv composer is version 2.3 – so reverted back to version 1 and now i have my site back
what is the best approach to update

Also please make sure that all theme plugin are updated ( also please make sure that tagDiv Composer and TagDiv Media Library are activated ).
Also please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it to a value of double you already have if possible.

everything updated and checked – apart from wp update (still 4.9) and this time i got nothing – no errors just a blank screen – frontend and backend
ive got 5 separate accounts and this is the smallest of the sites so i want to get it right
