Loving the Newspaper 7 Theme. To ‘upgrade’ the free copy of visual composer that came with the theme, I purchased the copy of visual composer but am having trouble installing it because wp tells me that it is already active.
How do I install the ‘full’ version?

Only my advice: Allways use the version that come budled with theme!
I have also VC licence and I don’t use it.
¿Why? because tagDiv ensures that the version bundled is fully compatible with theme. If you install the last VC version there’s a chance to broke something or some functionality stops working.
P.S.: Of course, if know how debug you can use it
Be calm, right now you are using the penultimate version, so don’t worry, you’ll not be hacked 🙂
Thank you for your reply. I guess I just wasted the $34 on the upgrade. Thats ok, the theme is great…and I dont want to mess with it, it’s working real well right now…

You’re not going to lose your licence!
If you feel more comfortable you can activate your VC copy from dashboard to get rid that annoying notification.
