I have been using the Newspaper theme since 2019 and have been aware of the vulnerability in tagDiv Composer through alerts. Unfortunately, it has now been compromised by a multi-virus attack.
This appears to be a redirect hacking, affecting tagDiv Composer. I have tried updating it and adding the plugin via a .zip file, but without success.
Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

After that, you can update the theme to the latest update.
For every update, we always recommend the following:
-> First of all, please make sure you have a backup.
-> Please deactivate all the non-tested plugins with our theme before updating.

As a last workaround is to start again with a new install of WordPress.
