The Visual composer backend editor has stopped working on the pages and posts for me. I have tried to uninstall visual composer plugin and reinstall it and this still hasn’t fixed the problem. is there anything else I can try to fix this problem. any help would be great thanks.

This issue was caused by the new version of WP. Please update your theme using this guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then update visual composer to the latest version using this one: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

same problem with me. I have updated into latest version but the plugin not working.. I want to add pre built templates but when i click on that nothing happening..
I have updated both the newspaper theme and visual composer plugin and still no luck. Please help me find a solution. I am in the process of selling the site.

Please make sure you have visual composer 4.11.2 as that is the version required for the new version of WP. If you already have this version and it still does not work, you can try to disable all other plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. If you still cannot get it to work, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect the issue. Also include a link to this topic.
