Visual Composer not working

I’m running WordPress 4.6 and Newspaper 7.3. Browser: Chrome.

Visual Composer no longer works. Specifically, when I click Add Element, I get the Add Element screen just fine. But when I click on an element, nothing happens. Previously, the element would be added when I did this. Now, nothing. I can double-click or try to grab and drag and drop. Nothing.

Known issue? Fix? Thanks.

Hello jauburn,

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.3) and Visual Composer (4.12) and also, please check your system status to be increased to the higher value of them according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

What I had to do was delete the Visual Baker plugin.

Download latest theme package from your ThemeForest account
Update your theme

Delete Visual Baker plugin

Now, upload js_composer plugin from theme’s plugin folder
