Website looks different when logged in as admin

Hi!

I’m here once again asking for your help. This time, whenever I try checking my website outside my WordPress account, even on PC, I get a very different (and uglier) look than the one I want to have on my website. For some reason, the home page is not being updated, but some of the posts are. And if I access as an admin, everything looks fine, but the problem is that 95% of the people who is going to access the website is not going to have an account. Can you help me with this? This same issue is happening to the mobile website. The website address is moavoficial.com

This is how it looks when you are not logged in: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JQ13bE-5_hD-HNbsicffzcEVeDX7hbwj/view?usp=sharing
This is how it looks when you are logged in (and how I want it to be): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z-trQJ-x6-uelMpMCuTMhSJ-ExehIprM/view?usp=sharing

Thanks!

Hello !

This happens due to cache. Please follow our guide and make sure that WP Super Cache has been installed properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Let us know the result.

Thank you !

Hi!

I’m making another repply right now because it seems that the issue wasn’t fixed after all…
It seems that it worked only for a few hours, and then, it went back to that outdated look that I don’t want.

Also, it seems that the contact page is not showing on any device at all. Can you tell me if I need to do something else? I already set up the plugin as the instructions said.

Hello,

Please ask your host if it has a cache plugin installed, if so, then it may not recognize the version it displays.

Thank you!

Hi – I am having the same problem as well. For some reason, my header categories will not populate with subcategories (the same applies to the sticky menu) on the live site but the admin shows no problem.

The weird thing is that it is happening ONLY on the homepage. Once I move to a category or article, the glitch no longer happens.

Could you recommend anything to be done?

Best,

Ari

I tried following the WP Super Cache plugin but got this notice:

“Error: Configuration file /home/speakef0/public_html/wp-content/wp-cache-config.php is missing. Please reload the page.

Warning! You may not be allowed to use this plugin on your site.
The file /home/speakef0/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php was created by another plugin or by your system administrator. Please examine the file carefully by FTP or SSH and consult your hosting documentation.

If it was created by another caching plugin please uninstall that plugin first before activating WP Super Cache. If the file is not removed by that action you should delete the file manually.

If you need support for this problem contact your hosting provider.”

Best,

Ari

Hello, Ari,

Do you use any header code?
Also, according to this message the folder already exists, you need to rename/delete that folder manually using FTP/cPanel, also, please ask your host if you have access to install a cache plugin.
Also, please send the link to your website.

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

Apologies for the delay, I was away for the past week but thank you for your note.

Our website link is https://spkesy.ca/ – I’m not the most tech-savvy so could you provide a step-by-step as to how to rename/delete the folder manually? We host with BlueHost so maybe I could ask them to do it?

We may use a header code – I’m not 100% certain. We hired a Fiverr consultant to speed up the website and they installed a plugin called “Insert Headers and Footers” – do you think that could be one of the problems?

We had WPRocket installed beforehand but it was giving us problems so I deactivated it. However, I do think we should have access to install a cache plugin through our WordPress.

Best,

Ari

Hello, Ari,

This is an article on how you can rename the folder => https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/broken-plugin-theme also, you can ask the host for help if you can’t handle the article.
Also, please check the plugin “Insert Headers and Footers” and see where you have set the code, if you have the code/scripts only in the header and footer, you can insert it in our Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes => https://www.screencast.com/t/P1wjfaqzJLx, but if you scripts/code in body, then you need to use this plugin because our theme doesn’t have that section.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Thank you Anamaria, that was tremendously helpful.

For the header code, I wanted to follow your instructions and place it in the Theme Panel Analytics/JS section, but we already have a MailChimp header code running. Is it possible to include multiple Header codes in the section? If so, how do I properly format that?

Best,

Ari

Hello,

You can add the code in Analytics/JS section there is “no limit”, but you can set space and comments to know what each code is used.
Normally no problems should occur.

Thank you!
