Hello. My website bizarreturkey.com seemed to add top menu by itself and logos for both desktop and mobile are deleted. This happened today. Any idea?
I see a lot of things are changed and I have to spend hours to put them in place. This happened just after wordpress update. Why is your theme misbehaving? This will not only cost time to us but money as well!!!
With any new major update to WordPress, you should have backup to roll back to, if needed; you also must clear your browser cache, and any/all caches used in wordpress, CDN, etc.
You can also
a) resave permalinks
b) optimize db to clear transients with wp-optimize
c) simply resave menus from menu panel if none of the above helps
Also good to turn off auto-updates for WP, so you can be prepared with backups prior to doing an update to new version of WP; then roll back if something breaks.
Theme is working for me, but you can try the cache clearning, resave permalinks, resave menu; this is all necessary with many things that changed in WP with new versions of 4.6x.
You can see there is no logo. In the bottom of the website, about us and follow us disappeared. and also about us in the footer doesnt work. In mobile, there is sign in appeared.

So, did you clear your caching plugin, reset CDN, clear your browser history?
I don’t work here. But then, my site is working.
One presumes you’re using latest version of theme, updated your plugins, etc.
WP update does *not* break dbase settings for theme panel or stuff like widgets or similar. You may have some other issue.
A theme or WP update does *not* delete pages. so, your web host might have had an issue; you got hacked, or some plugin or setting you have unique to your setup broke. No way to know.
Ideally if you have missing pages — which is bad — you should roll back to your most recent backup, if any.
If you have no backups, now would be good time to plan for that!

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This is most likely a plugin conflict affecting your site.

LEt us know if you still have trouble with fonts and provide an example of other problems you face as i can only see the font issues.

There are also some posts that when I try to edit, shows emtpy content. They show content to users but not on wordpress when I try to edit.
Should I revert to the backup before the upgrade?

I see you use version 7.2 of newspaper. We only tested 7.3 so please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and make sure you up-date visual composer as well: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

You will not lose any data at all. Simply follow the guide and your data will be safe as it is kept in the database. you will not modify anything in the database

Hello. I am trying the steps. I have activated another theme and I am trying to delete Newspaper theme but it says “Deletion failed: The requested theme does not exist.” However when I do live preview for Newspaper theme, I still see it. Please advise.

If you want to delete the theme simply access your files via ftp and delete the theme folder from wp-content/themes/

You should also update the plugins after you install the new version of the theme so you can go ahead and delete the plugins from the wp plugins section. hit deactivate then delete: http://screencast.com/t/g9mOxxPDtx
As for the theme update. simply delete the newspaper folder. and then copy over the new one. it’s safer than renaming it. Delete the old and upload the new.

I took all the steps you have asked me for. I updated the theme to the latest version as well as plugins. However issues still continue:
