I need to know if the update will also change my theme look. WIll it change the way my homepage or any other pages look??

It shouldn’t cause any trouble. First of all, please make sure you have a full backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.

If you use default templates, then make sure you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active after the update.
