Our theme is compatible with the latest version of woocommerce. You can update the theme using this guide:

As for the child theme, that will need updating too. There is no update proof way of altering the theme files:

– functions.php
– screenshot.png
– style.css

The files that are changed ion the current version. You will have to look at the list of modified files you can find in the main theme package: http://screencast.com/t/JfyGJUlCLT
and if any of your files from the child theme is present on that list, it means you have to replace it with the new file
