Before, I could easily update the theme and visual composer using Envato Toolkit since you provided an auto-installer. Now, I have to download the complete (!) theme manually from Themeforest and upload ONLY visual composer. This is ridiculous.
Blame Envato for a crappy updater. This is why *most* people update themes manually by FTP, so you can also do safety backup FIRST, in case you break something; this allows you to ‘roll back’ if the ‘auto update’ fails and kills your website.

Sorry Chris, but this is not Envato’s fault. tagdiv is simply not delivering js_composer.zip in the regular WordPress install ZIP (in includes/plugins/) any more. If it was there it could be installed with a single click just like the new td composer.
BTW: The Evato update works well for me since 2 years doing 16 theme updates.
