Hello everybody,
does anybody know why the post images (featured images) aren’t full sized for the block ?
In the demo content all images are filling the whole div and at our sites the images are cropped.
We’ve used different sizes for testing (2304x1536px / 1021x 640px) but this doesn’t affect the output.

What are the real sizes of the images which should be uploaded?
Every picture is cropped and we don’t the solution for this problem đ

This center-top cropping was considered to be the best in general for the purpose. The resulting thumbnails would be affected by the image aspect ratios as well

The same images will result in different thumbnails for different block modules. This is how the theme handles the featured images and creates the thumbs.

But can you tell me why the cropped images aren’t filling the whole box?!

The created thumbnails will fill the module, by default. Each module has a predefined thumbnail size, this will ensure that the thumbnail fits properly automatically. No need to do anything else then set a featured image for the posts.
If you could provide a link to your website we will inspect it and check if there is a problem with the thumbnails. From the screenshots it seems the thumbnails fill the whole module.
In some cases when thumbnail were smaller for example, there would be empty space around them, this is solved by regenerating the thuumbnails

it worked with the Regenerating-Thumbnails-Plugin, but isn’t there a solution that all pictures are resized to a specific size?
Today a colleague wrote a new post, but the image on the frontpage wasn’t resized properly.
Do we always have to re-generate the thumbnails manually?

The theme should create thumbnails automatically as soon as a featured image is set for the post

No need to regenerate after each post. That would not be a solution. Please provide a link to your website and we will check if the thumbnails are not created properly.
