I have set Background Boxed Layout and Stretch.

So the main front page that has no background is full wide screen, however all posts and category pages have their header/footer drawn in exactly like @insumedical

If I uncheck Background Boxed Layout the background picture disappears for the category and header/footer goes full wide screen. The posts still stay the same though.

Cloudflare Rocket Loader is off and was off before, i.e. never turned on.

I finally found one issue on my desktop:

The header and the footer are no longer full width on the screen.

Static pages also have the full width header/footer.

I have removed the block for xmlrpc.php but it doesn’t seem to be the problem.

Just did the update and everything looks ok so far. Still, really no issues? Still no GAB social media?

Yes, but how can I control this global tag on a site-wide basis? If so I can get the entire background white for the posts apparently.

So it seems the template behaves differently depending on how it is selected.

When using the global option the background picture for the category appears.

I set the background to white for the single posts template. That way I only have the background picture for the overflow part of the post of desktops.

But then I ran into a new problem.

This page does not have the background picture at all:

Now the next problem is that the background pictures are showing up on all posts as well. I only want them to be seen on the category pages…..

What version are you using now?

If you are using 10.3.9.1 and do not have WooCommerce installed with Stripe then you should not have too many issues. Make a backup before.

The CSS analyzer should be a separate plugin maybe?

I am still on 10.3.9.1 due to all the issues.

Contact form 7 was also non-functional so I had to turn of ajax.

Also, what are the exact recommend proportions of the background image? 16×9?

Well, I am not able to remove the background color. If I leave it blank (not set) it still comes out as I have set white. Maybe this is a bug?

So I would have to make a template for each category then? That seems a bit hard.

It doesn’t seem I can get a complete fill with a background picture either. There is the center picture and then two sides that way.
