I was able to get it up after falling back to 12.1 version and resetting Theme settings from Newspaper theme panel. I had same issue last time and I had to reset everything, (all page designs) to default before I could make it working. No conflict with any plugin was encountered then. So I am scared to do an update now since it has occurred twice.

I am going to post it everywhere if you guys fail to help me getting my website up soon.

Fixed:

I had edited my header in child theme. I removed the header file and it fixed it. Thanks!!

Error at zones: 5(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content. I deactivated all plugin except TD Composer but it is still there. VERY FRUSTRATING INDEED. Please help!!

I am using Newspaper 7.0.1. I have found a problem with Adsense ads not displaying when I chose smartList layout for a post. Is this a known bug or is this something which can be fixed by tweaking some settings??

Another thing. Ok – I though it was worth trying to put Article Ads as shortcode in top and bottom of my post which had smartlist layout, as it didnt display ads in case of smartlists. Voilla I could not find a single reference to shortcodes in this so called documentation which eventually lead to this Forum!! All I could find is a word [shortcode] in https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/, which says:
[shortcodes] – the spot will run do_shortcode() on the ad. Using shortcodes you can add adRotate ads to that spot. – What does this mean? Can you explain.

Where do I find a list of SHORTCODES this theme provides? Is it not worth considering to put a page somewhere which list all the shortcodes this theme provides?

I am a web developer with almost 10 years of experience in coding, still I am finding it hard to find solutions and helpful things in this theme’s documentations.

As it is confirmed it is problem with Jetpack + Newspaper theme, I fixed it temporarily by placing the following css code in my style sheet:

.post .td_smart_list_2 .td-sml-description p:first-child {
display: none;
}

I think I found the problem. For me, it is conflict with Jetpack plugin. If i deactivate Jetpack it shows fine. Trying to find the cause and a fix.
