I was able to fix issue with custom theme name by adding MyCustomThemeName
static $theme_versions = array (
'Newspaper' => '8.7.5',
'Newsmag' => '4.4',
'MyCustomThemeName' => '8.7.5',
);
in file wp-content\plugins\td-cloud-library\tdb_version_check.php and the issue was gone.
I am also facing the same error as soon as I enable “tagDiv Cloud Library Plugin”
fyi,

Hi,
I understand that there is custom body class and other manual css ways to fix the problem.
But my point is if we have given options in cloud template settings (tagdiv composer) for background color, then it should work from there itself.
I am attaching image for your reference both images are representing same elements but with the default color is coming from theme style, while Tagdiv composer is modifying different css class for red color (#dd3333)

This installation I have setup on localhost so link is not available.
But if you want to replicate the issue, use Template 12 and try to modify the top header background color.
Before upgrading do a test upgrade on your localhost to see if everything works perfectly! and do backup your site.
Because I have tested in fresh WP install and renamed the main theme and child theme for this test.
Looks like issue is fixed. I just tested the 8.8.2 Newspaper version.
Hi,
Thanks for considering it for testing. Meanwhile what I can do is to resist updating my website. Once its fixed please add a note to changelog or update this post.
I will wait for the fix.
Hi,
I understand the the level of testing, if you dig a bit more and move to Theme settings page you will see error:
https://i.imgur.com/9m82HcG.png
Yes,
Tried both ways.
1) Installing WP, then rename theme and install theme.
2) Installing WP keep theme name same and later on put renamed theme.
In both way it doesnt work.
I will recommend you to test it on your localhost so that you can know the real cause of the issue.
Hello,
Yes I did the same. I have made a fresh wp install without any extra plugin installed Newspaper theme and bundled plugin.
The issue appears from Multipurpose & tagdiv page builder shortcodes they are not working.
Without these two plugins theme works.
So i suspect Multipurpose or tagdiv page builder checks theme name before it can be applied.
If you can remove that restriction of name. May be it would work?
Hi,
Yes we use child theme right now but we change main theme name and child theme name as per naming convention of wordpress 3 years ago. Now, it would be hard for us to change theme, please test it and make it available in such a way that things should not be depended on theme name. Irrespective of theme name, theme should work. For the first time I have seen that a theme only works if it has its original name.
I would recommend you to follow wordpress standard and https://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development
Ok.
Looks like I found a work around, In normal wordpress editor, I managed to edit the columns of my choice.
Hello,
We have been using this theme for last 3years with theme name changed. We never had issue. But now if we update our theme, we dont want to loose any data and settings.
The solution you are providing will lead me to never update the theme.
Please kindly test the theme with modified name.
Its really hard to work with TagDiv composer. I cannot create 1/6 +5/6
I need this layout urgently!
On the left most I would like to have call to action button and on right side I would like to have some text.
Looks like impossible to achieve this with it.
Can you please provide us latest version of Visual bakery current version is very old and outdated.
Waiting for the update.
Regards,
Ashish
Hi,
These are for aligning the blocks I would be happy if there would be option to set colors and give this block looking like other blocks on the website.
means when user looks at the feed post it should not look like feed but normal post heading styles should be there.
I know I can use plugins But if I use plugin for widget that plugin’s Widget wont be shown in Visual Composer.
Thanks a much I had been Exactly Looking for this 😀
I am not talking about social icon. But the social like buttons just after the post.
I want to remove those social like buttons just after the post.
Thanks. I was looking for this one 🙂
Cheers!
