I have reverted back to an older version of the theme and this problem seems to occur after an update from 10.3.6.1 to 10.3.7. Changes have been made after this update. I do not know what the exact cause is, but maybe you could help me better with this information.
All the default header size settings are working with version 10.3.6.1.

That’s weird, because the font sizes should automatically fall back to the settings you set up in the theme panel, that’s what these default settings are for. This always used to work before the update. I have updated from 10.3.6.1 to 10.3.9.1 so it has to be something between these versions.

I have manually changed as many headers as I could, but not every block has an option to change the font size (a widget in the sidebar, for example).

I can also see that the template has lost its “Template Type” and “Used On” properties.

I have placed the code in the functions.php file, but it does not seem to work. There is also no element with the class “.block-editor-writing-flow” inside the DOM while editing.

So you guys do not support or test any membership plugins? That is weird as this is also a magazine theme which people WILL add membership options to.

I also can not understand why the excerpt function worked perfectly fine before and now just doesn’t. This feature is very important to us to gain visitors and memberships. I am prepared to give you the login credentials to our website if needed.

The same bug appears on the date template too. It also uses the “Posts Loop” element. I just need to use two of them at the same time, that’s all.

Flex blocks do not work with archive pages. It selects all the posts and does not filter on the selected category. Is there any other way?

Yeah, putting it in the ad section of the post content works, but that’s not really the place I want it to be. I’ll just try another plugin. Thank you anyway!

I am using “Worth The Read”. Unfortunately there are no other extra parameters to use inside the shortcode. I have found out that if I place the shortcode below the text content or inside the actual text, the time is shown correctly, but that’s not the place I want it to be.

I actually want to use the Fast News template as default on every category. So if I set the category settings to ‘inherit from global’, it applies the template, but the blocks containing articles aren’t filtered. Every article is shown, which should not be the case. Is there any way to fix this?

We don’t want to use the author field from wordpress but would like to use a custom field for this
So the question is: is there a way to rewrite code for this ‘more form this author’ block in such a way that it would get article from the author based on the custom field ‘Author’ (which is a tag).

hmm it’s a bit hard to understand. If I read it correctly I should do the following:
I now have a main category with sub categories, all taken into menu
so on our website wp.bgmagazine.nl eg, ‘Arbo’ as a main category and ‘arbodienst’, ‘arbowet en regelgeving’ etc as sub categories. These sub categories have been set manually by me in the wp menu section by me in order to show.

If I want the mega menu to work I understand that I should delete/disable these manually entered sub category items in the menu section of wordpress and everything works fine?

If so, then I just have one additional question, how will this (if any) effect the url paths (in terms of seo (friendly) paths). Will the url paths still be there (but now feeded by the theme).

We have several categories (arbo en verzuim, Duurzame inzetbaarheid and so on these being block 1 en 2 on the homepage). On the right side of every block you see a submenu that we created with ajax (Labels are ‘Artikel” article), Nieuws (news) and Opinie (blogpost).
These will display all post from that specific category. So for the first block it’s only from category ‘Arbo en verzuim’. This could be articles, blogpost, events, jobs etc.)

However the block Arbo en verzuim should only display the specific articles, blogpost, events etc from that specific category, so in the first block it should display all posts, events, jobs only from category ‘Arbo en verzuim’. If a user clicks on a submenu eg Artikel (article) all the articles (or number we’ve set up) of that category should be shown in that Block.
