I tried EVERY setting before writing here
So I tried to change the style in every sub-category but the result is always the same:

every category AND sub-category displays always the DEFAULT style, no matter which style I choose in the “per category settings” section. So the “per category” selection seems not to override the default one.

Anyway, I don’t need to personalize every category so I could choose one style as default for all the categories.

But I would like to know if there is a way to display a header image (not BACKGRUOND image!)

but the ‘order’ rule seems not to work…

‘order’ => ‘DESC’

I don’t think it was a css problem
I found in your documentation that Visual Composer only works in pages, not in articles!

So I created a new article with CLASSIC mode (not Backend editor) and then I set up its sidebar in Widget Area.

Now the whole article has the right width, included its bottom sections as author box, related content and comments.

Maybe you can add this information in your documentation so that people know how to create and manage sidebar for articles.

the solution you gave about this issue in your posts #39517 and #40801 are not still doable with td_block.php in Newspaper 6 (or I cannot find the exact code!)

I need:
– to cancel ALL tag from every block
– and not to show sub-sub categories in every block

I’m a little bit disappointed…
you said “We will try to add this on Newspaper 5”
but now we are on Newspaper 6 and still you don’t care about megamenu…

With the new Newspaper 6 I have still the same problems with Mega Menu:
– I need to cancel the “ALL” tag from mega menu
– I need to order the categories as I want

So, is there a better solution in Newspapaer 6 about Mega Menu or do I have to use again the solutions suggested here in your previuos post #39517?

More: how are the articles ordered and displayed in mega menu? I mean: by date, random or…?

always with a problem with sub-categories

this time I’m trying NOT to display sub-categories in blocks

there is the main category “RISORSE”
with all its subcategories
1-level sub categories: Writing, Editing, Publishing, Marketing
each of these sub categories has its own sub-categories…

where you can see that are displayed “Writing” and “Editing” (that are OK)
but also “Scrittura creativa” and “copertina” that are sub-categories.

As you can see the block shows the first 4 categories as they are in categories structure

I want the block show only the 1-level categories.

unfortunately I cannot do without the Taxonomy plugin because it’s the only way to order categories in MEgamenu

I could try to update the theme, but in this case would I loose all the customizations I did on the theme (colors, typography, custom css,…)??

Here I am again on MEGA MENU…
I need in the mega menu only first level child-categories appear
NOT second or more level child categories!

For ex:

–> child1: meat / fish / vegetables
–> child2: chicken / beef / lamb…

I want in my mega menu appear only food and meat /fish /veg
NOT chicken /beef /lamb

So how can I limit the depth of categories displayed in mega menu?
