Edward, thanks for the screenshot, that’s the method I use at the moment, but it’s just not the quickest because you have to go get the embed code, plus it is very difficult to do if trying to post from a mobile (and it’s an extra step that some of our site contributors wouldn’t be too comfortable with when submitting posts through the front end).

I’ll try a couple of plugins anyway and see how they work.

Is there a list of which plugins are bundled with the theme? I want to delete some unnecessary plugins in WordPress but am not sure which ones came with Newspaper.

One thing I’ve just realised is that I removed categories from the mega menu, but they are still showing in the mobile menu. Could you let me know how I would also remove them from the mobile menu so both menus match?

Thanks, it was that missing comma. That’s worked now!

On a related note, is there a way to prioritise the order the categories appear in the meganav?

As a feature suggestion for future releases, I would like more flexibility to control what goes in the meganav, as I tend to customise my menus quite a lot but this is difficult if you want to use the meganav as well when it relies on the standard category/sub-category structure.

Hi, I tried this but it seemed to break the theme so I must have done t wrong. I restored the back up of that php file so it went back to normal, but I’m not sure what else I did, as tried to follow your instructions exactly.

Ok, thanks. I tried creating a new page and it seemed to work so it seems to be something on the existing homepage that isn’t allowing Visual Composer elements to display. Not sure what that would be though, as the homepage doesn’t have any other plugins or anything active that isn’t elsewhere. I’ll send through the link now anyway.

Ok, I’ll try my settings but I still think the blocks should be showing content the way they are set up, but are not showing on the homepage at all at the moment?

Any other obvious issues or settings I should check?

Hi, thanks for coming back to me. It’s a redesign for an existing site so there are hundreds of posts. I’ve set the content block filter to ‘all categories’ so it would pull through all latest posts. Is that the right way to do it?
