AWESOME! That works just fine. Thanks a lot for your time, Calin.
Didn’t work for me at https://diarioanticipos.com
I want to see the SHARE TEXT in mobile too.
How can I do that?
The “!important” has an exclamation in the CSS code.
Hi Simion, thanks for your reply.
I only make some modification via “Theme Panel” in the child theme so I guess that I don’t need to look up for any “list of modified files” that you include with each update, right? Please tell me where is that list and the changelog of each update?
Thanks
I’m doing it right now, thanks.
When you release an update I have to upload the “Newspaper” folder via FTP and it will be OK? I don’t have to change anything in the Newspaper-child, right?
OK, I red the documentation, thanks!
Via FTP I add the Newspaper-Child, previously extracted from the themeforest-5489609-newspaper file. Inside this file, in a folder called CODE I found the “Newspaper-Child” folder. That’s the folder that I upload into the “public_html/wp-content/themes”
There I have 2 folders now: Newspaper and Newspaper-child.
Then I have to go to the WP administrator and I have to activate the “Newspaper-child” theme. That’s allright?
After that I have to update the Newspaper folder (in wp-content/themes) via FTP with the themeforest-5489609-newspaper file and that’s all?
Thanks for your time.
Thanks for your reply, Catalin.
So… I’ll download the latest Newspaper Theme and upload it via FTP like this tutorial shows it and I will not lose anything? I already has a “newspaper” folder in the wp-content/theme. What about the “theme child”? I have to create it? I have to disable the cache in order to do this?
All customization that I did was via the Newspaper Theme Panel. I will lose it too? What’s the “theme core files”?
Thanks for your time and sorry for all this question. I don’t have the knowledge.
It’s a theme bug. I have this problem too and I noticed that the URL adds an extra “/” to the link before the user name. That’s the reason why it doesn’t work but I can’t fix it neither. I need help too.
Wrong URL example: https://twitter.com//diarioanticipos
It shows “//diarioanticipos” and needs to be “/diarioanticipos”
