I am not sure about your pictures. They seems alright for me. But in my site, please look at this picture

http://vietnamaustraliatrade.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Difference.png

Please look at two thumbnails both showed the same flag and almost the same size.

The upper is Block 1. The lower is Flex 3. One blurry and one sharp. Why?

I have sent the account to the email address.

The only thing I would like to ask is please make the thumbnails in publish view look as good as they look in the TD Composer mode.

Please notice how the footer looks so different in two modes too.

Thank you very much,
Sol

I agree that some feature images are too small. But that is not real source of problem.

I just adjust the test page a little make the size somehow similar . Please look at it again

Do you see the huge quality gap between two sets of thumbnails?

And I said again, in the TD Composer mode, every thumbnail looks great. I can give you my account (through email) so you see the page in Composer mode by yourself.

And again I work with Newsmag for several years now and I don’t have this problem. I strongly believe that there is something wrong with Newspaper. Please look at it more closely.

Thank you,
Sol

More clear:

In published view: flexes are sharp, other block are blurry.

In Composer: everything is sharp.

What I mean:

1) Not all block thumbnails are blurry: Flex thumbnails are very sharp but other block thumbnails are blurry. You can see the test page on my site:

http://vietnamaustraliatrade.net/test/

Where in Block 1 the thumbnails are very blurry, but they are sharp in Flex 3.

2) Thumbnails of ALL blocks are sharp in Composer. But they become blurry in normal viewing

That image show the Block 1 but in Composer mode. It’s sharp.

Thank you,
Sol

I have the same problem and waiting for their help. It’s very strange that the quality of Flex is very good but it is very bad in other blocks. And more strange that they all look good in the Composer mode, and become bad in normal view.

Btw, I don’t think we need upload images with the exact sizes, because everything was fine when I worked with Newsmag.

Btw, I am talking about the experience on computer now. I haven’t test it in mobile yet

You can compare the thumbnails between Block 1 and Flex 3 in this test page

http://vietnamaustraliatrade.net/test/

The quality of Flex is far better comparing to Block 1

But in TD composer that Block 1 looks great

Hi Simion,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Sorry, I mistakenly said it was the black. In fact, as you indicated, it was the business.

The reason I was interested in this demo was that I am working on a website that contains many posts without images. It will be urgly to use some default image for thumbnails. I know that there are some no-thumbnail blocks but the business demo showed another solution. With td-business-home-row go with a row every block15 in that row will be displayed beautifully without thumbnail.

I have some questions would like you to help with:

1) What is the best way to make any block displays without thumbnail?

2) Is it true that the definition of a extra css class should be in put in the Custom Code of Theme Panel as in some tutorial? Why can’t I find the definition of td-business-home-row or any other there? Or you put it directly in some css file when building the demo? Is it a recommended practice or just a shortcut of tagDiv?

Thank you very much.

Hello Catalin,

Thank you for your help, I have solved the problem by setting max_execution_time to 300. The default value is 30. Your theme needs more time to process large images than other themes 🙂

Have a good day!

Hello Catalin,

I have the same problem. I can upload small images but can’t for bigger images. The problem disappear if I switch to other themes. I delete all the plugins but can’t fix it. Please help.

Thanks,
Sol
