This user did not write anything. So we are just showing here some random text to make the profile page look nice :)

So, basically, we cannot use FIA if our website is built on Newspaper7?

Hi Simon,

Thank you for your feedback. We have been able to follow it through.

Have a good day,

In other words, if we’ve created custom ad boxes by modifying the .php files, we will lose that correct?
Which parts of the wordpress admin will be afected by re-uploading the theme file? The posts? The pages? The menus?

Many thanks,

Got you, what if I re-install the theme via FTP? Will I lose my menus, logo placement, menu colors modififaction we’ve made, and so on?

Hi Bogdan, when you you say reset the CDN you mean from the hosting or the WP admin?

Best,

Hi, how are you? Can we do the same for the footer? Because if I got to the Header directory I will find the ads.php file, but if I go to the footer’s directory, there is no Ads.php file.

Thanks!

Thank you! It’s solved

Thank you Catalin, but the problem was another. We’ve been able to solve it. If anybody has the same problem, make sure on the smart list template you’ve selected a style of post, otherwise it will break sides (if you only select a standard style).
Best regards,

Hi Catalin, hope you are doing well.
We have been able to create various ad boxes, but the ads will not show. Let me explain in details.

The predetermined ad boxes that come along with the template (header ad, sidebar ad, article top bar, etc) work fine. Our ad tags from DFP show the corresponding ads without any problem.

Now, the problem that does come up, is whenever we created custom ad boxes.
We have created per section and site placements, DFP segregated tags, but whenever we upload these to the custom ad boxes, they will not show on the website (excepting the header and sidebar wich call the standard predetermined boxes).

The custom ad box was created as follow:

td_api_ad::add(‘gourmet_header’,
array(
‘text’ => ‘Gourmet Header’,
‘ad_type’ => ‘ajax’,
‘fields’ => array(
‘ad_field_title’ => false,
‘ad_field_position_content’ => false,
‘ad_field_after_paragraph’ => false,
),
)
);

And the ad boxes have been ‘created’ under td_api_block::add(‘td_block_ad_box’, correspondingly.

In this section: https://crunchy.life/gourmet/ you will see that there should be a 728×90 ad box between the header and above the first posts, but nothing shows (you can inspect the site and you’ll find no lines for what’s meant to be there.
Even if instead of placing a DFP tag, we place a random text, nothing will show.

Is there something we’re missing out?
Many thanks in advance,

Hi Catalin, we only have that plugin enabled. The rest is not. I guess there is no other option than to reupload the template?
Now my big question is, will all the work we put into editing the sections, boxes, and many other features, be reset too? Will we lose all this editing and start from scratch?

Best!

Hi Catalin, many thanks for your attention.

The Post Style 3 + Sidebar to the right have been set up. You should be able to see the error now: https://crunchy.life/2017/05/15/restaurantes-afrodisiacos-la-suma-de-dos-placeres/

Once again, thank you for your time!

Hi Catalin, thanks for your feedback.

Please see as follow a live example of what I mean: https://crunchy.life/2017/05/15/restaurantes-afrodisiacos-la-suma-de-dos-placeres/

Btw, all the resetting doesn’t make any change. The problem shows up in some post styles, the sidebar just breaks and appears down After the end of the post scroll, and whenever we scroll up if shows another broken menus.

Thanks in advance for your time

May I add, this problem shows in some template styles at the post level, not all.

Hi Bogdan, thanks for your reply. We have deactivated all plugins and deleted cache but the problems stills shows. Could there by another backend problem?

Thanks!
