Thanks, I set both things up as you wrote (I disabled tagDiv Standard Pack with Asset CleanUp on the main page), but I only see a minimal improvement from FCP 6.8 to 6.4. It’s still at 60 points.
I’ve noticed something very strange with the Mobile Theme settings.
If I disable the “Enable/Disable Mobile Theme” option on the homepage, then the Mobile Theme also stops working on the WooCommerce product pages (and only there).
After that, I can’t turn the Mobile Theme back on for the homepage anymore. When I enable it and save, it immediately switches back to “Disabled” again.
I discovered this completely by accident, but it seems like the homepage toggle is somehow affecting product pages and the setting is not being saved correctly.
Hi there,
I followed all the settings exactly as you suggested, but on the homepage I can still only reach around 59–60 points because of FCP and LCP. I’m not necessarily aiming for 100, but it would be great to get into the 70–80 range.

I configured WP Rocket based on your guide:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-rocket-and-newspaper-theme-optimization-guide/
I’m also using Bunny CDN, mostly WebP images, and I’ve disabled unnecessary plugin assets with Asset CleanUp Pro.
On the first (top) section of the homepage I’m using Modules Builder:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/
My questions:
In Flex Block Builder, is it recommended to enable “Cache block results”?
Under Filter → “Content preloading”, should this be set to “preload all” or “no preloading”?
And in general, what else would you recommend to improve the performance metrics and overall speed? I’ve tried quite a few things already without much success.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi Calin,
I think I might have a similar problem. I noticed that several important WooCommerce plugins do not display on the product page when using the TagDiv Woo plugin on desktop – for example, WooCommerce Product Bundles, other bundle plugins, or the YITH Countdown plugin. Running these or similar plugins is important, but most of them do not support a shortcode workaround.
What can I do? What could be the issue? It’s clear that the tagdiv woo theme is not handling this correctly because everything works fine on Mobile Theme (mobile) and with other classic themes.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
The issue has been resolved, thank you for your support! 😊
I also learned something new in the process, much appreciated.
Best regards,
Peter
I just re-sent the email to contact@tagdiv.com with the subject:
“Mobile Theme loads on tablet – temporary wp-admin access provided”
Thanks a lot in advance! 😊

Hi Calin, just checking in 😊
I sent the login details via email last week as requested — any update on the issue?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
The tablet I’m using (Huawei) has a resolution of 1334 × 800, tested in incognito mode on two different browsers. DPR 1.5 (https://screenresolutiontest.com/)
Here’s the website where the mobile theme is enabled, including on posts:
And here are pages where the mobile theme is disabled:
🔗 https://ajovokezdete.hu/shop/
It would be great if this could be configured somehow, as I don’t really understand why it behaves differently.
Thanks in advance for your help!
I am using the Mobile Theme on my site along with WP Rocket. However, where exactly can I configure WP Rocket to support the “mobile device” version when using the Newspaper Theme?
Thank you!

I had previously disabled the mobile theme on the LearnDash course page. Otherwise, the mobile theme works well on several posts and pages. I’ve tested this again. But when it comes to LearnDash course content (and lessons), I notice that the switch isn’t working. I’ve set it in LearnDash to ‘inherit’ the theme, but even after clearing the cache, the problem persists. I’ve deactivated the WP Rocket plugin, but there’s no change. I’m out of ideas. Is it possible to block the JS file with code? Or set it up in a different way to disable the mobile theme (on the course sites)? Any other suggestions?
Thank You!
I followed these steps, and it seems to be working now:
I deleted the previous Co-Authors Plus plugin.
I removed the ‘author’ taxonomy from the database.
I deactivated the Molongui plugin.
I went to Settings > Permalinks and regenerated the permalinks.
I reactivated the Molongui plugin.
These actions resolved the issue, and the author article count now appears to be correct.
Is there absolutely no way to disable the MOBILE THEME in favor of a specific newspaper template (e.g., Cloud Woo Shop Base Templates Mobile Theme)?
Is there a feature like this, or something similar, currently in development?
Thanks
I have a similar issue: the number of articles written by the author does not display correctly when using the “Author Box, Guest Author and Co-Authors for Your Posts – Molongui” plugin. What should I do? For example, here: https://ajovokezdete.hu/author/mulleribolya/
Alright, thank you very much for the response!
I finally decided to use the Mobile Theme plugin.
I can set everything up nicely, but for the WooCommerce shop page, even though I disable the Mobile Theme in the Gutenberg editor, only the default WooCommerce store layout appears. However, the “Woo Shop Base Template – Kids Store” template is installed as both the Global and Mobile Template. On PC, the Kids Store template displays beautifully.
How can I configure this so that a different design appears on the WooCommerce shop page? (Specifically for WooCommerce, at least on the shop page, I would like to disable the Mobile Theme plugin. – http://ajovokezdete.hu/shop)
Unfortunately, I’m experiencing the same issue. According to PageSpeed, on mobile, the First Contentful Paint is >5 seconds and the Largest Contentful Paint is >9 seconds in every test. On PC, the values are excellent. I’m using WP Rocket and the MOBILE TEMPLATE, which I set up with Composer.
I simply can’t figure out what I should do. I’ve tried all sorts of settings in WP Rocket based on various guides, but there’s no improvement in this area. What could be the problem? Website: https://ajovokezdete.hu/
