Thank you, Bettina. I saw this same answer for another user, and tried it with not much luck; only going back to 10.4 was a temporary solution. I understand others experienced similar problems with updating and also read that the problem with the new version was solved. I will try again to update and hope it is safe. Best, G.
Update 2
I downgraded to Newspaper 10.4 and it improved. Now how to prevent the same problem when I upgrade again to Newspaper 11?

This is apparently caused by the plugin tagdiv Composer
If so, deleting it and replacing it may help? Where can I download the plugin to reinstall it?
Thank you, I’ve sent the information you needed a few days ago and again today.
Thank you!
Thank you, Vlad. But that is exactly what I am using in the front page https://hispanicla.com, the Search Box you pointed to.
The problem is again that only few entries are shown for the author when we imput the name in that box. For example, author “Gabriel Lerner” has 355 posts under his name, yet only 84 appear. Author “Nestor Fantini” has 92 authored yet just 49 appear. And so on. Thanks!
Maybe the cause is in the header or menu, in relation to the Cloud Library plugin. Thank you.
Not solved. I received this email

to me
Hi,
I reinstalled both the composer and the cloud library plugins.
Then I activated the cloud library plugin. The website seems to function correctly after I activated it – https://prnt.sc/vil10s – https://prnt.sc/vil1bb
Please monitor to see if there are any issues once again. If there are, please mention what happens exactly. Let me know.
Thank you!

but it didn’t change a thing yet.
I added an explanatory text in the homepage
“Estamos experimentando dificultades técnicas desde ayer 11/11. Esperamos solucionarlas en cuestión de horas.”
that, interestingly enough, caused the code not to be shown. Still you don’t see the logo or the menu.
And every post: https://hispanicla.com/lo-que-grita-el-cielo-51215?nocache=1
shows critical error
“Ha habido un error crítico en tu web.”
I still don’t know the reason, but I fixed it by removing the comments widget and other manipulations of the single post template. Thank you.
I did and the problem seems to be solved. Thank you. Now if I may ask you, about the upgrade to version 10.xx, the instruction is to remove completely the old theme 9.8 from the directory and then install the new one. Won’t this erase all the settings? Will I have to start again? Thank you, G
Please ignore the mention of version 10.XX. But the problem with what happens with TD Composer worries me.
It was a server cache issue, I fixed it with Bluehost, they had to clear cache from the server end. Solved. Thank you!
Just to clarify, can the sticky menu be made clickable to go back to the homepage?
Thank you very much!
