I disabled AMP and now the site is working, how can I fix this issue?

1) I didn’t understand anything you just said because I’m not technical. I don’t know what a staging website is. I deactivated all plugins cleared cache and problem is still there.

2) The Newspaper theme automatically updated. The update caused a crash and everything got erased from my settings including logos, color theme and all saved elements.

3) So I did a restore from a previous back up, but still settings are missing I had to input them manually. Why did my settings go missing? IS this going to happen every time you guys update?

4) If you check now mindfulpump.com the images are not showing! I’ve tried everything and nothing is working.

5) My GT metrix was A and my site was loading very fast. Now when I type in my URL it is taking many seconds to perform any action. Then it loads but without images http://www.mindfulpump.com

My website had an A grade on Gtmetrix and everything was running smoothly. After this crash, nothing is working right. Images aren’t even loading.
My logos and color themes are all missing and I had to do it manually
All the settings are missing and I had to insert it manually
All of the elements I saved for my personal designs are gone so I have to redesign some parts that got corrupted

This crashing has been having several times and I’m so tired of spending hours/days and so much money building a site to have theme crash on me for no reason!

UPDATE
Newspaper reverted to an older version and despite restoring from a back up it has ERASED all my settings including theme colors and templates.

Bluehost said it was something about PHP value numbers and there were many processes happening in the background, I’m unclear? Anyway, I cannot optimize my site more than it is it has an A grading. I now updated to a more expensive plan and I’m hoping all these night performance issues will stop.

Most of these links don’t even work. Also I’ve done many of the suggested and site is still very slow.

It doesn’t look okay because the image is cropped. This image is fine because I had to edit it 5 times to get it to not look too bad but there have been other instances where I couldn’t use an image at all because it cut half a word out. Also when it features a square image in category section it cuts half this image out! why isn’t it resizing&cropping instead of just cropping?

Also, what Tagdiv claims the image will look like on desktop vs what actually happens when I check my phone are very different.

My settings on the website are already set but the mobile isn’t reflecting the same

On my site I have removed author and have changed the category tag color to purple for all of them. But on mobile theme it shows black category and the name of author like this photo. And there is no option I see that allows me to change this. It should be in the mobile theme settings but it isn’t?
Is there a code I can use to:
Remove author
Change category to purple #801A86 and text to white

and where should I place it.

Thank you for those new links they are more helpful. Unfortunately I gave up and paid a developer $$$$$ to fix my issues. The site is working well now but I do want to fix something small if you see attached.

I would like like to change the category tag color from black to #801A86 with white text
Also, there is no option to remove author’s name from the settings.
I just want the date of the post with no author.

Also lastly. The front page grid is based on latest posts
And the bottom grid is also based on the latest posts. Is there a way to customize these sections? I’d like the top to be the latest while the bottom grid to be the most popular.

Sorry but I didn’t get my questions answered.
Mobile theme and AMP are not working as it should yet.

Also I have checked every “tutorial” on the website and they are all limited in information. Tutorials should guide its users not just point features out and set warnings. We’re not all developers =/

How do I change all these settings?

Remove the logo from bottom
Update with proper SM handles

And change these icons to black

I’ve reactivated the mobile theme and AMP to speed my page load. I’ve set it to Mobile and AMP. I’ve also then tried AMP only but I see no changes when looking through my phone (cleared cache).

When choose Mobile and AMP vs only AMP what will be the difference from mobile view?
Also, how can I see these changes on the mobile (not as preview but browsing through the phone)? currently doesn’t show changes

This doesn’t tell me how to set it up properly, what Mobile vs Mobile Amp vs AMP actually mean and which to choose. It doesn’t tell me how to preview the AMP version for changes. It doesn’t tell me anything (this is a recurring theme throughout every issue with these documentations they need a MAJOR update).

I have tried to reset my wordpress through a reset app but that didn’t help either.
