Still found no solution sadly, had many people attempt to help me now and paid some to have a look with no solution either.

Double checked that the redirect’s are correct, that the preferences etc are all checked, yet still getting the “We couldn’t crawl your site. Check that Googlebot can crawl the root of your site using the Fetch as Google tool”

it has all worked up until I go to webmaster tools and try a “change of adress” I just get the error on the “confirm that 301-redirects work properly” which says:

“URLs from your old site should be redirected to your new site using permanent 301-redirect directives.
We couldn’t find any 301-redirect directives for your site. For more details check the Fetch as Google tool.”

I’m left confused as the 301-redirect appears to be active?

Hi…fitnatic.net…. the logo is in png format and both…the logo has successfully uploaded to the media library, however whenever I try to add it as the logo, it loads and then nothing….

Also you mentioned that “One “trick” is to make one of the boxes “TEXT ONLY” and make one ad unit “IMAGES ONLY.” This has worked for me in the past.” How would I do this exactly?

Sorry I fixed the issue, what I wasn’t doing was applying all the correct “visibility settings” within the adbox widget.

However the other issue was applying custom ads e.g. just above the footer on every page, so please could you provide you email so we can discuss this?

Sorry but I think you misunderstood my questions, I’ll try again…..

1. Yes I added the adbox to the sidebar of the homepage but it doesn’t appear on the homepage sidebar, it only appears on internal pages e.g. article post pages. I have tried to resolve this by changing the visibility settings for the adbox to specifically select “front page” (as well as various others) and still no change occurs? What may be the problem or may I be doing wrong?

2. I also have two separate adbox’s in the sidebar, however I’d like to make them have two separate ads appear in them i.e. two separate google codes, as at the moment I assume they are the same ad loading twice on the same page?

3. No I don’t want the ad to appear at the end of the article, that’s what I have at the moment, what I want is for the add to appear further down, below the article, just above the footer.

What I mean is that when I change the template to “content with article list” in order to produce the page numbers for that specific page (which isn’t the homepage), the template for that page changes too. So it was just a block, however after it has been changed from “default template” to “homepage with article list” it puts the homepage feed on the bottom too, as well as the single block (block 6).

Hi I tried that and although I get page numbers, it changes the pages layout which I don’t want….

I posted this in another thread an hour ago “For a specific page only the 5 most recent posts appear, however I need users to be able to browse all post at their leisure i.e. use page numbers at the bottom. I was told in another thread to use the “home page with article list” template, which did add the page numbers but at the same time changed the layout (which I don’t want!).

I have tried installing the WP-PageNavi plugin to resolve this issue instead, but nothing seems to happen???

Please can someone help me resolve this, as it basically makes my site useless for users.”

Thanks that plugin really does improve things. I find it astonishing that there isn’t an easier and more efficient way to do this though, surely this is a common issue??? Very odd.

What I mean exactly is that I want the preview thumbnail to be a part of the image that’s appropriate i.e a face not a torso, however the crop function isn’t working?

What I’m currently trying to was crop the featured image, in order for the thumbnail to show as this cropped version. However for some reason crop doesn’t seem to work? Do you know why this may be?
