Thank you Ana. You are right it was one of the plugins.
The culprit was “SiteGround Security”. There is an option Disable Themes & Plugins Editor in the setting of the plugin. Hope it helps someone else too. Thank you

UPDATE:
YES, FietsersbondHZ is RIGHT! The culprit is Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader. Make sure you have it off or wp-editor won’t work. ALSO. And this also took lots of time to realize but make sure you clear cache on your cloudflare (and your ‘supercacher, all 3 levels’ if Siteground) then actually close out the window that has your wordpress backend open. Log back in fresh after disabling rocket loader or you will find the wp-editor still won’t work. SPENT 3 WEEKS DOING THIS. Hope I can save you some time.

OMG I have a feeling you might be right. I will return soon to update. I have spent last 2 full days on this because I couldn’t ADD ANY SHORTCODES!

I have already emailed contact and still waiting for reply. I have DONT EVERYTHING. I even deleted EVERYTHING, database, the folder using FTP, then NEW WP installation, redirected DNS from Cloudflare back to Siteground, waited 24 hours just to make sure. I have NO other plugin except yours. FRESH new installation with latest version of your theme and your plugins. I read your guide TWICE. I think I have genuinely done EVERYTHING possible. VERSION 9 had NO PROBLEM. It is this new version 10 something has changed.

you were right
i just spent 2 hours on this.
this culprit was ‘SG Optimizer’ plugin from Siteground.
you have leave everything ON EXCEPT ‘Defer Render-blocking JS’
that will show feat image for post template 8 on mobile and desktop.
fixed. btw, im not sure if ‘Defer Render-blocking JS’ is useful or not but i rather have my feat image show on mobiles.

I’m using template 8 for posts, my featured image shows nicely on desktop but when viewed on mobile there is nothing for featured image. just big blank grey on the mobile. i really LOVE template 8 for post but i would like to show feat image on mobile as well! please help!
