I have been told to upload the image as big size(1688*1152) as your demo and I have tried, but the featured image was still same. No any changes. Besides, in your demo the height is only 500 more pixels, but my one is 729 pixels.

another random question, I can see there is an author avatar on the demo page. do you use a plugin to do this or you have your own avatar module in the theme?

this is the style3 with the featured image in size of 696*379, you can see that it is already very big. If I use a large image, I could imagine that the page will be covered by entire image. In style3 will the featured image also be displayed in a thumbnail format?

I have found the issue. It was because of large_client_header_buffers in nginx. I increased it to
4 8k from 2 1k.

I am wondering that why the visual composer would send such big request header?

there is another one about the category, I created a new block by cloning block1 (created by newspage demo) in vc, but no matter what changes I made on its filter settings (select a specific category instead of all categories by default), it still displayed all categories. is there any special settings I need to take care of?
