This user did not write anything. So we are just showing here some random text to make the profile page look nice :)

When you make a drop-down I want people to be able to select a, b, c, d, and so on throughout the alphabet. I don’t need to attach a screenshot to show you the alphabet. I assume because you are responding I’m going to get unfortunately this can’t happen and not even offer any kind of options or support on this.

7.4 would be a downgrade and open up security vulnerabilities. I’m not prepared to do that. I was told your then was 8 compatible.

I’m running 8.1 PHP, going to 8.2 breaks the site.

I dont really want to create a new user for each new Author. Is there another way?

So lets say I want to recreate the EastCoast Check site.

Ideally I’d like to do this work from the backend as I don’t allow registration on the site.

Where is the information on how to recreate what you show on the upgrade page? I want to see that listing exactly the way it shown.

jtoney

That fixed it and made another issue. I’m looking at a recently created post and its showing without the css style and completely wrong. Everything else on the site is correct except for the new post.

jtoney

Can you show me an example on how to change it?

jtoney

I dont utilize custom CSS. This has happened since the installation with nothing else installed so its not a plugin. However, Im using a site offline plugin so I am not disabling that since the site isn’t live yet.

These images show the issue. Also the text isn’t aligned anymore.

That didnt correct the issue

jtoney

Did you ever find one that worked?

jtoney

It is assigned 1 category, which is how all the posts will be. This block will only show posts from that category.

jtoney
tagDiv Member

That worked. Thanks! Is there a means of editing the page in real time so I can see how the layout is evolving? Its time consuming to make a change, save it, and reload the page.

jtoney
tagDiv Member

If its not yet available does that mean its coming soon? Or does that mean its simply a task on the list of items to be added?

jtoney
tagDiv Member

Why not? What is an alternative? Instead of just saying no try and provide some alternatives that might achieve this goal. Every question I have asked has been met with the same no response.

jtoney
tagDiv Member

Is there no easier or efficient way of doing this? I’m going to end up with hundreds of individual templates.

jtoney
tagDiv Member

Does this mean that for every post I do that I want something different that I’ll have to create a new template layout?

jtoney
tagDiv Member

I dont want to filter by author. The post title itself I want individuals to see A, B, C, D, and so one so they can select what they want.

A user creates a new post within wordpress. The new post is saved for publication on the site. This post is saved under a specific category. This category is sent to the menu so that when you click the menu for the category all of those articles are displayed. We utilize categories to differentiate posts.

On the site itself I am using the menu that points individual menu items to pages and those pages were made within the TAGDIV Composer. However, one menu item goes to a category of posts for the blog section.

In that blog section, I want the posts to appear differently than those on the different pages. For all of the other posts I went into an example post and used TAGDIV Composer to set the layout of that post so that everything would conform to this.

I now want to change just the layout of certain posts to confirm to a different layout where I’ll have things added like TAGS and possible videos and so on. If I make a new layout I don’t want it to effect all of the other posts.

NEVER will 1 post have two different layouts. Either its going to have LAYOUT A or LAYOUT B.

jtoney

You are not understanding.

All posts (pages) used the same template. There are some occasions I don’t want to use that so a few articles look different with different layout.

jtoney
tagDiv Member

Then that would change all of the posts. I don’t want to do that. I want certain posts to have a different setup altogether.

jtoney

So your support solution is for me to go look at a post and see that you don’t offer a solution. That’s great support right there.

I can’t but I’ll describe it better here.

This is how the article looks
