So let me get this right. The plugin for social sharing you put into the themes plugins, you no longer take responsibility for. You’ve just done this to me with the mobile plugin and the APM plugin saying they dont work anymore. Even if they don’t work anymore you’re still responsible for selling them as part of the theme. Maybe if you’d stuck to this being a newspaper theme instead of trying to now diversify it into a woocommerce theme the original plugins would work.

I don’t have Yoast and really shouldn’t be pushed into using one or another plugin to make a theme feature work. However this feature did work and has only lately stopped allowing me to share to groups when selecting to share the post on Facebook.
I use Rankmath.

Yes they are good features I was looking for a way of automatically echoing out the author from a default sidebar. So if one of my Authors created a post it would echo the author box in the sidebar without them having to do anything but write the article.

This is not WP best practices and all my other Themes from themeforest have also been updated Envato compliant with no issues to the Child Theme.

This seriously inhibits my ability to customise my site if I update to 9.7.1 If I do not update and keep my customised functions I risk security and future functionality and customisation from the Theme authors.

Newspaper is not my only Theme.
I have several other envato Themeforest WordPress themes including X Theme and Avada Theme.
They are still up and running with a child theme following envato requirements. So whats the issue?
We all know it is best WordPress practice to use a child Theme.

Ok thanks, I seem to have a issue, even when I use a Template from the Library with a full width image and follow the instructions in stretching the row it does not stretch and stays at 1163.990px.

I have tried to use Liberty template Church and others that show a full width image but have been unsuccessful at duplicating the layout.

When I write a post I want to be able to use different shortcodes like pull quotes or drop quotes the hero shortcode and other elements to style the blog Post.
Not to just have a flat one-dimensional text post.

Without knocking your Theme I bought this theme because I post articles in Newspaper type format, On Post, not pages.
Wordpress is a blog theme and surely any editor and shortcodes are for post pages.
I have just migrated myTheme from Avada after looking at your Demos and seeing the layouts of the post. Now you say the Shortcodes will not work on the post pages?
If I cannot get the Layouts on post pages whats the point.
I could just use a free theme.
I feel you have misrepresented this Theme.

Hi, I am not a moderator nor do I have anything to do with Newspaper Theme other than I have just purchased the theme a few days ago.
But to get your image in the Author box you need to go to your user profile panel in WordPress dashboard and fill your Bio in there.
To get an image I use a Plugin called WP User Avatar by flippercode this allows you to upload a profile image to your user profile.

Could I just ask a quick question while you are here, please?

Using the normal text editor I only get a few shortcodes for editing my text both video shortcodes before I purchased the theme watching the videos it showed all the shortcodes and in the default WordPress text editor.
