Hello Anamaria,
All done, deactivating the caching plugin just did the trick and I was able to deactivate and uninstall the Composer.
Thanks and take care!
Hello Bettina!
So following Anamaria’s recommendation I did the following:
1 – Went to my Newspaper plugins page and deactivated all the plugins to make sure that nothing was interacting with my actual website.
2 – Cleaned the cache.
3 – Went to the wordpress plugins windows, there I tried to delete the “tagDiv Composer plugin” but when trying to do that I get the following message: https://prnt.sc/17uo4h8
Translating from Portuguese it says: “You cannot delete a plugin while it’s active on your website”
Thank you!
Hello Anamaria,
I’m deactivating the plugin but when I try to delete it from the plugins page it says that I can’t delete the plugin when it’s being used on the website, even thought all the tagdiv plugins are deactivated and after I cleaned the cache.
Do you know another way for me to delete the Composer plugin?
Hello Anamaria,
Thanks for the help, both of the solutions worked just fine for me!
Have a nice day!
Hi Vlad!
Sorry, I didn’t remember about the Mobile Theme Plugin, but the thing is, I’ve never installed it in my WordPress:
https://prnt.sc/v4mxfp
Thanks!
Hey Vlad,
Sorry because I didn’t quite understand how can I “Deactivate the mobile theme”, after all I’m not using any mobile theme on my WordPress or do you mean the new one from tagDiv that brought the “Mobile Page” update, if so where can I do this?
Update: Now I am able to use my responsive mode back again (was some configuration inside my Ad Inserter PRO plugin), but the problem now is, when I am inside the TagDiv Composer and change between devices view, if I didn’t reload the page then I wouldn’t be able to enter in the mobile version of my website, and if I do reload, I exit the TagDiv Composer (see video: https://streamable.com/14b9t1)
Do you imagine a way out of this, to be able to edit the mobile version of my website through TagDiv Composer?
Hi Vlad!
I made a mistake when describing the problem, the issue is not that I don’t have a responsive version, is that after I chose to create a Mobile Page of my Home Page, even after deleting it all the changes that I did to my Home Page are now lost and I would want to know if there’s a way to rollback it, to make it equal as the other ones (for example the header/footer on post pages, see link: https://streamable.com/ofp1x8), because on the past it was like that and it lost its format after I clicked on the Mobile Page.
And btw since I’m here, you maybe asking yourself “why he is trying to rollback, if the header or footer lost its previous configuration he just have to configure it back again in responsive mode”, but that’s another problem, my responsive mode is not working as showed here (https://streamable.com/3mum2c)
So with that in mind, do you have any tips on how to solve this responsive mode issue, cause the lack of configuration could be easily fixed if I have access to this mode again…
Hi Calin,
I really have forgotten about the “Ad Box” element, I just had to add the shortcode from the Ad Inserter PRO and everything worked as supposed to.
Thank you, problem solved!
Hey Raveen4tp, Vlad, hope you guys are doing well!
Can you guys help me check if what is happening to my website is the same that happened with Raveen’s one (My website is https://ciclick.com.br)?
Note: I just want to be sure before delete and reinstalling everything since my website is already working with ads, so to configure it again will be a pain if that didn’t solve my issue…
Thanks.
