This user did not write anything. So we are just showing here some random text to make the profile page look nice :)

Ah, yes, that’s the one.

Thank you!

Hmm, let’s see.

It does delete the extra space, but not the line itself.

See here: https://www.fuckdiestudieschuld.nl/nieuwe-basisbeurs-hoeveel/

Can I delete the actual line too?

Thanks!

Ah, thank you.

And I don’t think the problem occurs only on iPhone 7 since I seem to have the problems on all iPhones.

I just don’t understand. I’m not logged in on my iPhone. I just visit the site. How could that go wrong? And it always happens, on my old phone, on my new phone.

Then only my second question remains.

2. The element uses an effect for the text that makes the text move a little upwards when hovered. And only when hovered, the text is exactly centered horizontally. Can I change this? I would like for the text to be horizontally centered without hovering.

Maybe I could change this using custom CSS as well?

maaikewind
tagDiv Member

Wait! I managed to fix it using custom CSS! 🙂

I added this:

.tds-title-over-image1 .tdm-title-over-image-info-wrap {
padding: 24px 24px;
}

And it works! 🙂

maaikewind

Ah, yes, that makes sense.

However, I don’t think I can change the padding of the text? It’s a title over image element. If I change the padding, I’m only changing the padding of the element as a whole, not of the text.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

You’re looking at the homepage. The problem occurs on blog posts.

See for example here: https://www.fuckdiestudieschuld.nl/tegenslagen/

Thanks for your reply.

1. So the link is only accessible by me when I’m logged in?

2. Did you find someone with an iPhone? I still have the same issue. (Also had it on my old iPhone 7, by the way.)

Thanks again!

Oh, and an update: the left site of the border isn’t correct either. It’s a bit rounded. It should be not rounded at all.

So indeed, your screenshot is perfect. But where did you see that? On an actual mobile device?

Because if I visit my site on my iPhone 12 it looks wonky.

maaikewind
tagDiv Member

Oooooh, wow, that works! Thank you!

Damn, I thought I had literally tried everything, but I had indeed not thought about this.

🙂

Thanks for your reply!

Two follow-up questions, if that is OK.

#1 If I use a mobile page, that page becomes available for desktop too. It gets a separate url, which can be reached from everywhere. I do not like that. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

#2 About the box for the email address, I don’t understand why it looks normal to you. Check this image, I’ve pointed to the problem with blue arrows.

-> https://ibb.co/XXGzv0J

In your image the box looks fine. However, if I check the site on my mobile (so my actual mobile, not just shrinking the page on desktop) it still looks wonky.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi!

I managed to fix a lot of the wonky things by adding new elements for mobile and then to hide the elements for desktop, and vice versa. (Is that a good way to do this?)

There is a wonky thing left, though.

Image: https://ibb.co/0V1H5rq

It’s the box for the email address.

It’s supposed to look like this: https://ibb.co/LtyQ1vz

On desktop it’s fine, on mobile it’s wonky. Same element. I didn’t change anything for mobile here.

Thanks!

I tried to use option 1. However, for this particular page, I can’t get it to work.

For the other pages, the responsive mobile page looked rather good to start. For this one, it looks all wonky.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Or is there a way to make the homepage to look good on mobile? While using the same template as the desktop one?

maaikewind
tagDiv Member

(I created this separate one because the homepage I made looked very bad on mobile. Somehow it wasn’t responsive at all.)

See here.

Hmm, I’m not sure I understand.

This is the page that loads as the homepage on mobile. So deleting it will delete the mobile homepage too, I suppose?

maaikewind

Ah, yes, that works! Thanks!

Hi Calin and Anamaria,

I’ll try and explain.

This is what I do:
– I open a new page
– I go to the Cloud Library
– I import the Artist PRO homepage template
– The template is added to my page

Wait.

I see what is happening.

The thing is: I only wanted to use the newsletter element that sits at the bottom of the Artis PRO template. That’s why I imported the thing. And this newsletter element is missing from the template.

However, I see now that the newsletter element is actually a part of the Artist PRO footer template. So I should not have imported the homepage template but the footer template.

Wow, it took me a while to realize that.

Anyway, I’ve found it. Sorry for the confusion.

Have a great day!

I use the newsletter plugin. It’s already activated.

The problem, I think, is the actual template in the Cloud Library.

maaikewind

Hmm, closer. Not quite right.

Two problems:
– It’s not neatly coloring all letters
– It’s coloring all titles, not just this particular one

See this image:

Hmm, for me the images do not show up. If you right-click them you can open them in a new tab though.

Hi,

I don’t want a shadow. I want a solid colour.

Basically I want this …

BEFORE

… to turn into this …

AFTER

I can’t send you a link because the page isn’t published yet.

However, the element is a title.

Does this help?

maaikewind
tagDiv Member

Hi!

I don’t think that is the answer to my question. I do not want a simple background colour.

See the link I sent. That is what I want to do.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

I tried adding it from Theme Panel – Theme Fonts. But I cannot find a Mobile Theme option.

(I do not use the mobile plugin, I just use the responsive mobile site.)

Any thoughts?
