That works perfectly! Thank you!
(For future reference, you have to change the number of pixels so it’s the same as the height of your fixed header. You can easily check the number of pixels for your self when you inspect the element. In my case, it wasn’t 90 but 40.)
Ah, sorry, I’ll explain it with more details.
The image is a screenshot of the way the website looks on my mobile phone.
The yellow line (which indicates a link) should only be seen below the word ‘Michelle’ but it goes on all the way to the right side of the screen. The same goes for the date.
So I guess something gets messed up on mobile.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Yes, that works! ?
Damn, it looks so easy when you do it.
Well, I’m learning to do it myself haha. Thanks for all your patience.
Have a great day!
It works, hurray! Thank you!
One follow up question, if that’s OK.
The word ‘bewerken’ (Dutch for ‘edit’) is a link. However, the link is too long. There is a white space before the word that also becomes part of the link. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?
Thanks!
I’ve just mailed you my login information. I hope you can help. Thanks!
Will do!
Here are some examples of links that still turn red when hovered ->

I would like the text to stay black when hovered.
Thanks!

Awesome!
Here is my site: https://www.fuckdiestudieschuld.nl
I would like to hide the dates from the first block (the row of three posts at the top).
Thank you!!
That options deletes the dates from ALL block settings, right?
Further down my homepage I use another block and on that block I would like to show dates.
Hi! Unfortunately, that doesn’t work. The words still become red when hovered.
Ah, thanks.
Here, look at this.
https://imgshare.io/image/knipsel.hEQpl
If I hoover over the link (as I am doing in the image), the text becomes red. I would like it to stay black.
The rest of the site is doing that just fine, only this comment section is mixed up.
Thanks for your help!
Well, it’s only viewable if you’re logged in. Is there a way for me to post an image here?
Oh, a quick follow up question.
When I’m logged in, the two links at the top of the comment section (‘logged in as …’ and ‘logout’) are still styled a bit odd.
There is a yellow line, however, when hoovered the text becomes red. It should stay black.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Maaike
That worked, thank you!
I tweaked it a bit. The editor told me it wasn’t expecting unset as a property. I tried using baseline and that worked as well, and now the CSS editor is happy too.
🙂
No, I do want the effect, that’s not it.
Look closely at the link in the comment section. The word that is linked (privacyverklaring) is somehow placed a tiny bit lower than it should be. (You can see it more clearly if you select the sentence.)
I have no idea why.
How can I fix this?
Thanks!
Yes, that works perfectly, thank you! 🙂
One thing, the word ‘privacyverklaring’ is pushed down a little bit now that it is a link.
See here, below in the comment section: https://www.fuckdiestudieschuld.nl/studieschuld-wat-is-normaal/
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Thanks!
Update: I would also like to change the styling of the link to the privacy page in the comment section. Also, the word that is a link is somehow placed a bit lower than the rest of the text? Odd. How can I fix this?
I would like to know this also. I am afraid the theme settings will disappear if I update. That has happened to me before. What is the right way to update so my settings will be save?
Ah, I figured it out. Somehow I have to change those settings on the individual text thingies instead of in the general settings. Strange. Anyway, never mind.
Hmm, a follow up question. Strangely enough, the lists on pages that I create with the Composer still look different.
See this page: https://www.fuckdiestudieschuld.nl/over-dit-blog/
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
That worked, thank you! 🙂
My hosting company asks in what file the theme settings are stored. Can you tell me that? Thanks!
That’s too bad. I asked my hosting company. They say they have a complete backup and the theme settings somehow aren’t there.
Any thoughts?
Update: I’ve found the problem.
In case anyone has the same troubles: when I edited the pages, I accidentally added the white space to the header instead of to the contents of the page. Because of that the header changed everywhere, on all pages. I didn’t realize I was doing that.
Adding empty space to the page content instead of to the header fixed it.
Update: I managed to change the size to 17 by editing the element on the page with the Composer. However, this only changes the size of this particular list on this particular page, so I would like to still receive an answer on my question. Thanks!
Isn’t there a way for me to fix this myself? That way I learn to tweak the theme myself, I would like that. And maybe someone else who has the same problem can read your explanation and fix it themselves too?
