@carvax Also, I’ve seen your review and you want me to add a Facebook like button.

Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to add a customized facebook like button. It’ll slow down the site cause of the <iframe> and hurt the user experience.

I’ll take a look at Facebook’s APIs sometime soon though.

The plugin works with all the theme. Though it had an issue with Video-post types on the Newspaper theme. So I wasn’t sure if its the same with Newsmag.

And yes, I already test plugins on my localhost and have tested with a couple of themes..

In your style.css, go to 1833 line and replace this:

.format-video p {
padding-top: 11px !important;
}

with:

.format-video p {
padding-top: 0px !important;
}

This should fix the issue. Let me know.

I was quite busy last month and wasn’t able to work on the development of the plugin. However, I will work on it this week and hopefully I will be able to release an update with the request features. Here is what I will add on the next version (1.2):

• Settings Panel for the plugin — will let you enable/disable a share button
• Facebook Share Button
• Reddit counter
• CSS Imporvements

Thanks for the support so far! The plugin has more than 110 downloads and it will hopefully increase in the future.

If you’re a developer, you can clone the plugin at GitHub as well 🙂

I use it on all of my sites. The CSS is minified and it is getting the counts by the “right way”. So there shouldn’t be much problems with the speed 🙂

@Thakksy It wasn’t playing well with the theme when its automatically added. Add the following code the post templates to display it:

<?php echo do_shortcode('[sharify]'); ?>

Ughhhh. Just received an e-mail from CodeCanyon Staff saying that they won’t approve the plugin unless I make it compatible with all the themes.

It was my fault 🙁 It works with all themes but I was silly and submitted it for the Newspaper them. Will resubmit tomorrow.
