Hi Chris,

These are valid suggestions, however, disabling all these features actually almost defies the purpose of using the theme. This is an issue that has to be addressed by VC people and tagdiv eventually.

1 and 2 have been resolved.. It seems it was Cloudflare minification problem

But does this mean that I can’t use CDN..?

Also, any help with #3 appreciated

Hi Lucian,
Don’t worry about it, I used a different alignment and it’s OK.

I just thought I would report it for your consideration

hi,
the above alone didn’t work, but this did:

.ie8 .sf-menu > li > a {
font-size: 14px;
overflow: hidden;
width: 170px;
white-space: nowrap;
}

thanks Lucian… it’s a start! If I get it right I will post it here for anybody else interested

Hi Lucian,

Thanks for the reply. I also cannot understand why this happens on my site. Will try to investigate by switching plug-ins on/off and let you know.

> Meanwhile, could you plz advise where to find the ie8 class to edit the font-size?

mark this as resolved. Actually the non-sticky was selected (I guess when I updated the theme version it went back to default).

thanks for the help and sorry for inconvenience 😉

I am currently facing the same problem. The main menu is not sticky despite I have chosen so at the settings.

please advise

hi Radu,
I don’t think that work…

also maybe you could help me with making it opaque, so even if there is overlap, letters can still be seen?

thanks

Hi Lucian,

Thanks for the reply, I am already using AdRotate and it does not do exactly what I need.

Essentially, I am asking if it is possible to write a code inside the Ad box (on the Theme Settings panel) that will “read” which category the user is currently at, and display a certain ad according to that.

is that doable?

thanks

hi Lucian,

thanks again, but I only managed to make it work with Googleads but it never shows up when I have a usual image as banner. You can demo it at http://www.ministryofrun.com

But there is a deeper/bigger problem: I cannot add html inside the content. I wanted to make this an active link… any alternatives?

Hi Lucian,

thanks for taking the time to help me with this, but unfortunately it didn’t work.

I have added the code on my css but nothing appears on the page. If I do a view source, the css code is there, but no display of the text..

Am I supposed to add some class somewhere? Or have I missed something else..?

thanks

you are missing the closing quote ”
And of course the < >
Then if the image url is correct, it should be working yeah

thanks a lot – it was really so simple that I didn’t think of it hehe 🙂
