Yes, that way. I’ve done it!
Thank you!
Good!
And how can I disable some elements, like the menu or the social media icons but keep my logo, etc?
By duplicating the header/footer and removing the elements in the duplicates?
Good! I’ve done it following the instructions of the article.
Thank you very much, Anamaria
Cheers
Oh, no…
I’ve deactivated the Standard Pack and one of my blocks does not work anymore… Instead it shows:
[td_block_big_grid_fl_5 post_ids=»126, 1833, 1985, 2132, 2181″ mx21f_title_font_family=»817″ mx21f_title_font_size=»eyJhbGwiOiIzMCIsInBvcnRyYWl0IjoiMjUifQ==» td_grid_style=»td-grid-style-4″ tdc_css=»eyJhbGwiOnsicGFkZGluZy1yaWdodCI6IjI0IiwicGFkZGluZy1sZWZ0IjoiMjQiLCJkaXNwbGF5IjoiIn0sImxhbmRzY2FwZSI6eyJtYXJnaW4tYm90dG9tIjoiMCIsImRpc3BsYXkiOiIifSwibGFuZHNjYXBlX21heF93aWR0aCI6MTE0MCwibGFuZHNjYXBlX21pbl93aWR0aCI6MTAxOSwicG9ydHJhaXQiOnsibWFyZ2luLWJvdHRvbSI6IjIwIiwiZGlzcGxheSI6IiJ9LCJwb3J0cmFpdF9tYXhfd2lkdGgiOjEwMTgsInBvcnRyYWl0X21pbl93aWR0aCI6NzY4LCJwaG9uZSI6eyJtYXJnaW4tYm90dG9tIjoiMCIsImRpc3BsYXkiOiIifSwicGhvbmVfbWF4X3dpZHRoIjo3Njd9″ mx21f_meta_font_size=»0″ mx21f_meta_font_weight=»100″ mx21f_title_font_line_height=»eyJsYW5kc2NhcGUiOiIuOCIsInBvcnRyYWl0IjoiLjgifQ==»]
It should show a banner (title + subtitle) and 5 images of posts below, which open when clicked on.
Exactly with what (new) element should I replace mine?

Thanks Bettina, you are right. Yesterday I’ve updated a bunch of plugins, Total Cache among them. May be was just a matter of time.
Thanks again!

I’ve just installed the live update and it crashed the site: the Newspaper plugins were unistalled as well as the prebuilt website and I could not log in because I was asked to register the theme (in short: the update seems to have completely stepped on the previous install, including the license).
I’ve restored my last backup succesfully but now I’m afraid to try again.

It worked. Thanks.
Do you know what happened? Does it usually deactivate itself…?
Thanks.
Yes, I had checked them before writing just in case, because I hadn’t changed anything of the site in weeks:
– tagDiv Composer is ACTIVE
– tagDiv Cloud Library is Active
The rest are DEACTIVATED
Oh, good! The problem was that I had eliminated some original rows, and later I didn’t think that the solution could be related with an option within the VIDEO BACKGROUND section.
That option should be outside from/not related to the VIDEO BACKGROUND section!
Thank you very much, Calin

Sorry, the alignment is not good in the composer editor either (I didn’t notice it due to the side bar). Look:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RXaZ5PKw2tI3kob-mO-UuJLrlAuS-wth/view?usp=share_link
And I can’t make that row 100% wide and then align the column to the left!
I’ve deleted the cache and I do not have any extra CSS.
Just in case: the template is School PRO and the selected “DEFAULT SITE POST TEMPLATE” is this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ow27PP7lYupiy15g5gCF-gm-gNUvRMAU/view?usp=share_link
(whose thumbnail, by the way, shows the title centered; but I don’t know if that’s important)
Oh, OK. Thanks!
Of course, but now it’s clear that the problem is generated by the Kattmar prebuilt site, because I’ve switched to the Default Pro and the problem is gone (the font size in the list is NOT reduced):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n75dpskshFBRrlRYdO9c9iqrxJkz4O92/view?usp=share_link
Live page: https://blog.migueldimase.com/educacion/limitaciones-de-la-voluntad-en-la-autorregulacion-del-estudiante
So, please somebody check what works differently in that part of the code and let me know how I can compensate/repair the problem using css/html, because I have already invested A LOT of hours customizing Kattmar (and it is also for the benefit of all users that this prebuilt worked as good as the rest).
Thanks
Thanks, Bettina. Perhaps I did not explain the problem well enough.
Fonts BETWEEN sites are, of course, different, because in the test site I’ve installed the Kattmar prebuilt site. I’ve just showed the main site as an example of how the size of the font of THAT list is the same as the font of its pervious and next paragraphs (outside the list).
So, if you look at the fonts in the list of the test/Kattmar site, you will notice that the font is smaller than the previous and next paragraphs OF THAT VERY POST:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HgE2oU3r8ENKWON2ndNAk9RenudlnMDS/view?usp=share_link
Live post: https://blog.migueldimase.com/educacion/limitaciones-de-la-voluntad-en-la-autorregulacion-del-estudiante
While in the main/old Newspaper version site the size of the font is the same as the previous and next paragraphs:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MfIV6cwudZtNOtd5TQ-clzJ07b-tWbO3/view?usp=share_link
Live post: https://migueldimase.com/educacion/limitaciones-de-la-voluntad-en-la-autorregulacion-del-estudiante
So, apparently the Kattmar prebuilt site (OR the new Newspaper version itself) is interpreting in a different way the SAME list modified by Shortcodes Ultimate in the following way to get SVG pictures instead of bullets in front of the paragraphs:
[su_list icon=”https://blog.migueldimase.com/wp-content/uploads/study2.svg”%5D
[/su_list]
Sorry, but now I doubt if to use those custom fields it is necessary to install also the ACF plugin or if all the functionality is already included in the Opt-in plugin and/or in the Composer plugin.
Good. Thanks!
OK, Thanks.
But now that I think about it, and forgeting about importing a contact form like the one I tried, could I use the Tagdiv Opt-in plugin (instead of WPForms or Contact Form 7) to create the form from scratch? After all, its a simple task.
Or Tagdiv recommends we use those plugins at least for now instead of its own?
It worked perfectly: all comments are back.
Thank you, Anamaria!
Thanks, Anamaria.
I have checked both versions (old and new site) but unfortunately I can’t find a “Single Post Template” (at least not with that name) to see if it has a “Single Post Comments” added.
Can you tell me where to find it (I’ve looked in the documentation here, but with no luck).
Thanks! I’ll do that
I’ve found the problem (sort of): Newspaper mess with tinyMCE’s images sizes according to the width of the screen, through (I think) editor-style.css.
With the menu on (https://www.screencast.com/t/Rh0NLQl9ipo) the right-aligned image IS reduced (at least in my screen).
With the menu collapsed (https://www.screencast.com/t/Z4pYKG477j4) the image is shown properly.
Please find out wich lines in which css should be commented to stop responding to changes in the width of the editor.
Thanks.
Thanks for the testing.
I don’t know what to say. Can you test it for yourself in MY WordPress?
OK. Done.
A 600×360 centered is shown ok:

2) Image600x360at438x263.jpg: http://www.screencast.com/t/o3xbbLf0x
After right-aligned, is transformed immediately in 312×187:

Hi,
I didn’t mean HOW to take screenshots but WHERE I can put them (I don’t have a screencast account as you do, and the img button asks me for an http address, as I explained before.
I think I get it.
Thank you, Catalin
